Absolutely shocking to be told to leave goods purchased from the grocery store at the entrance of the liquor store before I may enter to do another purchase. This is not acceptable, rather have your security check bags when customers leave the store with proof of purchase. Why must we trust you to leave our goods in an environment you dont even have faith in???? Find a solution to your problem and dont make it your paying customers problem.
Very disappointed with the quality of the fruit and vegetables here. Packets of peaches with rotten peaches in them. Peppers all shrivelled and soft. Bananas way too ripe. I hope they can do better in the future. The rest of the store was ok. Standard Spar experience.
Shocking! The quality of your fresh produce & meat has been on the decline for months. Shame on you! You expect us to purchase dry & most expensive meat with our hard earned money. So disappointed. We have been going to Spar since Mr. Quin's days but since the new owners took over EVERYTHING has declined. After speaking to the manager she admitted that the meat is not great quality but that is what is on offer .... Thanks for nothing
I have been shopping at Spar for more than 30 years but sadly the service standard at Spar Watercrest has declined and unless Management does something to improve they are going to lose a lot of customers, my overview good and bad is as follows: Deli: Staff not interested in serving the customer ,have to wait for staff who are chit chatting instead of helping the customer ,cold meats section on the last 5 visits empty and staff reluctant to go check in the back for stocks ,lack of supervision inthe Deli staff left to their own devices your Deli used to be the best in the upper highway area What happened ? Butchery: Staff not helpful ,butchery Manager not helpful poor choices of meat ,empty shelves. Fruit &veg section : Staff not always present to weigh items ,some Items over ripe. Cashiers: friendly and helpful no issues General groceries selection: often Poor with many Items not being available at all or items out of stock. Please consider the above, as soon there will be another supermarket opening up across the road and unless Management get their A into G they are going to lose loads of customers
One of the few stores where I can get my favorite Sasco brown whole-wheat bread. Staff friendly.
It is a large convenient store. Fruit and veg aren't always the best quality or cheapest in the neighborhood. Cashiers are friendly, but the Spar loyalty program isn't as much of a money saver as the Checkers program and seems to slow down the till points.
I shopped at Spar at Glenashley for many years the cashier never had to check a price, but here there is always a problem. Last time l bought 6 items and 2 of them had to be checked.
Was not super thrilled with the butchery, seafood and vegetable sections. Actually had to go to the other side of the mall for all items from these sections. The friendly cashier was what saved this from a two star rating.
The restaurant staff were pleasant and I received my snack without delay.
I was so upset that the 4 packs of Rotis I bought at Spar in Waterfall had fungus I only noticed after my family and I had eaten one pack and the sad part is we can’t find the slip. But I’m sure there could be a way to get that info about the grocery I bought.
