WAWA offers a wide range of services to ALL Victims of crime and violence, including but not limited to Domestic Violence, Gender Based Violence(GBV), Hate Crimes(LGBTI and Xenophobia), Rape, Armed Robbery, Home Robbery, Assault, Incest, Hate Crimes.
Services currently rendered at Toekomsrus and Mohlakeng Victim Support Centra (VSC)
• Shelter for abused women and their children (short term)
• Assisting ALL victims of crime.
• Mediation – family preservation
• Counseling: Face to face, Telephonic, Individual, Couples, groups and families.
• Information and referrals.
• Educational workshops, talks, Lobbying and campaigning.
• Court referrals and legal advice.
• Advocacy
• Life skills programme
