WeThinkCode_ is an innovative tech institution with no teachers, no classes and no tuition. Become a software engineer at our world-class facility.

Description

WeThinkCode_ is a tech institution in Johannesburg CBD that trains world-class software engineers in partnership with French Ecole 42. The course is tuition free and 100% sponsored by Corporates, who also provide our students with internship opportunities and a clear path to employment. We are open to anyone between the age of 17 and 35, regardless of previous education, socio-economic background or financial means.

WeThinkCode_ are an institution with the goal of addressing the gap in the IT sector in South Africa. Their goal is to develop the digital talent of Africa's next generation. Considered one of the top software engineering schools in the world, they deliver the School 42 curriculum. WeThinkCode_ trains world-class software engineers with their 2 year course, in a fun peer-to-peer, problem solving learning environment. The WeThinkCode is a full-time tuition free course, sponsored by some of South Africa's top companies, including Telkom, FNB, BBD, Derivco, Dimension Data and IQ Business.
Great school. I attend here 2017. Quite intense but you learn a lot. Never do they ask you for your moneyFree Education. Its a great way to find yourself in the software engineering sector. If you pass the test on their website and the bootcamp that is. UPDATE 2023: I’ve been a software engineer for 5 years now, thank you wethinkcode .

As a student, WeThinkCode_ for me its a great opportunity and at WTC_ we learn how to Code and solve digital problems in many ways, given a chance to go for an internship to explore more in depth into the world of Technology.
Fantastic institute. This institute doesn’t just help you become a great Software Developer, but it also helps you become a better individual as a whole. I have learned so much from this place and I hope more people will get the opportunity to experience life as a WeThinkCode_ student.

One of thee warmest places where peer to peer learning is encouraged/implemented to effect. A free tuition software engineering course, learning how to be a problem solver using the skill of coding, valuable working experience paid internships. I honestly don't know but this institution should be widely known already, it's the best alternative for those who really want to code and don't have background education. I'd recommend it any day
As a student here, I have to say this school is incredible. They teach coding in an innovative and brilliant way. I would never have thought I am capable of learning this much. The staff are incredibly passionate about their work and it shows. If you have any interest in learning to code, and a career in coding, for free, this should be your first stop.
I am currently a first year student at WeThinkCode_, and the community is amazing, I have to agree with on of the reviews below, it is indeed the warmest place to learn, support is everywhere around you. The peer-to-peer learning system is golden to me
