Average Spar, no quick checkout Cleanliness 3 out of 5 Do not visit this store with a computer rucksack unless you want your personal belongings intrusively searched. The approach of the management and the security is to treat everyone as a potential thief. There are other food stores close by in the Quagga Mall which do not intrude into your personal space like this Spar with it's draconian rules and policies.
Great shop , friendly staff and an amazing variety of everyday products at an affordable
Is been quite a while since I was there, this Spar has been renovated,modern and very clean. I could buy what I needed especially after 7pm. Thank you so much for considering/ accommodating us who work 12hour shifts .
SuperStar is very interesting shop around Pretoria west , you get vule of your money.
Food services are ridiculous. Tried ordering pizza since they have it available in the store NEVER till this day could I order since the cook is never there or they tell me to come back later. Their other foods are also very oily and taste old.
They manager is a young childish boy named Avian who is very closed minded and happens to be very moody, but goes around the shop wearing a fake smile for the rest.. They change managers repeatedly because he dislikes those who appear to be slightly more intelligent than him, His like this cause his the son of the owner whom had never had to work or lift up his finger to earn anything in life.
The shop doesn't have a verificate so the bypass metropolis through bribery and I found that they frequently sell expired inventory. They also practice tax evasion by paying their employees cash and most would even complain about shortages of wages weekly. Not to mention the heavy smell of dog food in their store room where they keep food products alongside the very same dog food, clearly they don't care about hygiene.
Their cooked food is terrible must've been a day or 2 old oh and if you see any uncooked meat marked special that's code word for slightly rotten. It's just convenient for fresh fruit and veg plus non perishables though
They sell fresh products and their customer care meet the expectation
Their deli has the worst fatcakes Just bought them and i found a brown like substance in the dough and it smelt bad. The fatcakes are also very oily
