Bad experience with the manager Zuzi, her tone is not for customer service! The place would do so much better without her. Don’t shout at people before you hear their side of the story, it’s bad for business especially with the current economic state of the country! You threaten a child??? People laughed at me because I said I don’t like her aggressive tone as I was not fighting her. She had put me on loud speaker.
Best accommodation that I can visit over and over as long am traveling to Durban. I have been there twice already but still willing to visit again.

The lodge is nice, safe, secure and close to the mall. All our queries are dealt with and response from staff very quick however the houses are too hot and the fans are not doing any justice. Durban in itself is hot but inside the houses is worse.
It was very nice I loved the commune part,everyone has their own bedroom and toilet and shower sharing kitchen
Beautiful holiday home with all amenities. Not 15 min from the beach by car. Safe, gated complex, with a pool.
From my experience I wouldn’t recommend Westwood Lodge, I was treated horribly by security and bombarded with rules and procedures as a guest visiting friends. I was not allowed to park in the empty parking space by the house I was visiting. Even with a sprained ankle, I expected to walk almost half a kilometer to visit and again to leave. Security managers/supervisors are impolite, enforce rules viciously and demand respect. I was banned from visiting after not parking where I was supposed to for the last time, which has lead me to question management for such a severe and unconstituted punishment. I would sooner go back to high school than live like an inmate at Westwood lodge.
I would really love to stay here someday, by just looking at the pictures, it's a perfect place for a student to stay in, the environment seems conducive, the prices are fair, it's really great to me.
If you are looking for a place with security, Westwood lodge is the place ,the lodge is equipped with a nice braai area that's is awesome if you're looking to treat your tatste buds to some nice meat.Its ideal for students , equipped with a study area free WiFilimited ,a tuckshop supplying the essentials like bread , energy drinks etc....plus there's alot of understand around so traveling is a breeze and to top it off it close to Westwood mall which is a healthy walk away from the lodge and has stores like pic n pay ,food lovers , restaurant's, clothing stores and a tobacco house for the chain smokers.
Oops I was there 2019 November with my whole family. We enjoyed the stay and the place was nice and clean. It's just that it's far from the beech.... But it was worth it.
