Wharf Street Brew Pub

The one and only reason I have not given 5 stars is that smoking is allowed in the bar area which is part of the restaurant. The service, food, gin and craft beer were all exceptional. Definitely our favourite place to go for a meal in Port Edward.Food: 5/5

All the gentlemen in the bar are absolutely incredible, fast and efficient service with a smile everytime without fail. Their vegetarian meals are to die for and specially crafted. The atmosphere is relaxed. All round one of the most affordable places to grab a pint or g&t. If your 18-25 a really good Joll on a Friday night that doesn't break the bank.

Great looking decor, i enjoyed looking at the large reprints of the old historical photos on the walls. There is lots of historical evidence in the surrounding towns, and the building fits in. Staff was friendly and helpful, good selection of beer, including the exceptional craft beer on tap from next door. The pork Belly main course appeared smaller than the 300 gram portion, the crackling was tough as shoe leather. Maybe the other dishes are good?

What a wonderful experience we had on my husband's 70th celebration at the Wharf, I want to thank Raymond and his friendly staff, especially James that looked after our table of 12 guests, for the outstanding service and especially the succulents steaks, melt in the mouth fish and ending the night off with a fantastic cup of coffee. Best experience I had in Port Alfred, thank you so much!!

Hidden gem. The local fresh fish is a must! Good food. Excellent service. An all round pleasure.

Great brewery and restaurant, really enjoyed it. Go down to the cellar for a look, very interesting.

Brilliant food, the pub menu is great and fantastic value for money. Good service and good food what more can one ask.

We were probably not dealt good cards when we visited this place but it is what it is. The restaurant was short-staffed that day. Only one waiter helping everyone and we waited about an hour for our food to arrive. When it arrived my food was cold. Only thing nice was the traditional old English tavern aesthetic that the place gives.
