It's a nice chill spot for picnics and ...chill lol. It could be cleaner though.
Must have missed out on some TLC because of the dry weather, but thats pass now right? Time to get Willow Dam back in shape and clear out the plastics left behind by its patrons. Where is your pride?
Willow dam used to be a jewel to visit. Unfortunately it's not always clean anymore plus too many beggars and free roaming dogs. The gym and park are in a good condition.
So dirty, full of broken bottles and the dam is filled with empty plastics, bottles and general waste. Such a heartbreaking site, our once beautifully kept Willow dam has turned into a drinking site and thereafter a rubbishdump. The kids playgrounds has been upgraded nicely but not even two years later and the lack of maintenance is evident. A suggestion...why not put security there to keep the area protected, the bad elements out and our children safe. This was once a beautiful park for the kids to play in and it can be again...with the correct management.
It's nice to take photos and picnicl Playground: Kids can ride their bikes and play Dog-friendliness: Big space to walk dogs Picnic area: Nice and clean
Its quiete and peaceful. Put more benches and dirt bins up. And keep the toilets clean and open. We love taking our kids there. Try and clean the dam water aswell. Thank you to the municipality for keeping willow dam alive.
Very nice place to take the family during the day but not in the evenings, the stalls will be welcomed to resume again, that was so much fun
It's typical of municipalities to allow such beautiful recreation spots to deteriorate. This area has been a landmark and can boast aplenty happy memories for many families. I would only recommend a day visit as it's not safe in the evenings. Really needs a serious upgrade.
This is unfortunately nothing more than a duck-pond. Access is over weekends only most of the time. It has great potential but it will need a major investment from the local municipality to turn it into a local attraction. It is nevertheless a great haven for a variety of birds and they surely enjoy the lack of visitors.
Great place to spend the day with the family. Just had a unfortunate experience with grown children throwing stones at the water fowl. Also there is quite a few broken bottles laying around. Other than that still a good place for a picnic.
