Woza Moya is the economic empowerment project of the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust. Woza Moya has three shops which support over 1500 crafters we also assist / support other NGOs/self help groups with access to market.
Woza Moya is the economic empowerment project of the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust .Woza Moya was established in 2002 with just 5 beaders making AIDS ribbons,we now support more than 350 crafters who are infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Every week these men and women sell us their crafts,everything from beadwork,wirework,woodwork and sewing .The income from their crafts is the only source of income for 95% of our crafters.
As Woza Moya we have 3 shop where we sell the crafts to the public at 26 Old Main Road Hillcrest ,237 Old Main Road Bothas Hill and Shop 10 at Fields Shopping Centre Kloof Durban. You can also buy items at www.hillaids.org.za
