Our team have extensive experience in:
• Implementing and auditing of Health & Safety files.
• Hazard Investigation and Risk Assessments.

We also provide continuous assistance with system maintenance and implementation (i.e. regular inspections, audits, training, etc.).
Furthermore, we conduct and facilitate Occupational Health & Safety meetings including recording minutes. Part-time Safety Officer services are also provided.
On a weekly basis we will visit nominated sites where employees are active in service of the company. In this context any Head Office is excluded as a site. We submit to the 16.2 Assignee a written report of every visit to each site visited, and any immediate and present dangers encountered during an inspection will be acted upon instantly, and will also be phoned through to the responsible manager immediately if he/she is not on site.
On an ad hoc basis we will:
• Correspond / Visit / Consult / Meet with external agencies such as Clients, Clients Safety Officers, Dept. of Labour Officials, or any other persons who need to be dealt with in the course of the requirements of the OSH Act.
• Produce reports and other documentation as and when necessary.
• Submit a written report to the MD regarding any perceived threats to himself/herself and the company in terms of the OSH Act, as and when such threats are detected.
• Install, maintain and drive a complete internal safety system in the company, which will make the company compliant with the requirements of the OSH Act. This will include (1) Devising and implementing a company Safety Policy, (2) Setting up the company Safety Committee.
• Overseeing the functioning and effectiveness of the company Safety Committee.
• Reporting to Senior Management on the activities of the company Safety Committee.
• Keep Senior Management updated of any threat or potential threat, which may pose a danger to Management or the Company.
• Initiate and conduct Induction training.
• Submit reports on accidents and incidents.
• Practice regular site visits as and when required.
• Ensure that all OHS Act requirements are adhered to.
• Ensure that all employees go for medical check-ups at least once a year.
• Organise and control safety meetings and monthly safety talks.
• Communicate with the hospitals, doctors when necessary.
• Setting up of safety committee’s
• Incident investigation / reports / safety inspections on a monthly / weekly basis,
• Assist with the setup of site / safety files.
• Presentation of Site Safety File.
• Produce and ensure signed acceptance of 16.2 Certificates as per OSH Act.
• Risk Evaluations for the ten most dangerous tasks performed in the company.

• Defuse tension between management and workers by ensuring that the dispute resolution mechanisms are implemented.
• Administration of Employee Benefits E.g. Death claims, Workman’s Compensation,
• Unemployment Fund Manning Statistics etc.
• Prepare and present an annual report on the HR status and future planning.
• Conduct and maintain Appraisal / Assessment data.
• Plan job requirements and career paths.
• Assist during Union Negotiations
• Guidance and assistance during CCMA matters
• Submit HR and Safety reports on a monthly basis.
