This is a classic pub/restaurant with decent food and a lively atmosphere. Provided good weather you best sit outside, inside they have groundfloor with a nice bar and dining tables and upstairs dining area and washrooms. Recommended, bear in mind this is at a famoust street to drink and enjoy the terraces
I have been in this restaurant for 5 times already and the for the last 2 visits, the experience was awful . I ordered fresh salad and club sandwich which has greens or some kind og lettuce. Most of the lettuce have brown color on the edges which indicates that it is not fresh and it seems like it has been sitting on the cooler for weeks. They are not keen enough to check before serving. Such a shame for restaurant to ask serve their customers bad food. If I didn't check before eating, I could have been food poison and having to pay for it. Yuck!
Nice place, cozy but a little short on space between tables inside. Took the pasta with seafood and the veal stew, the food was okay but nothing spectucular. The veal was very tender and nice to eat although a little heavy. The seafood was tasty but some sand was in it, crunching grain of sand was not a pleasant feeling. Service was below average, they were polite but on the slow side, we waited a bit and had to call them to order while multiple waiters were hanging in the entrance waiting for something.
Nice cozy place to eat and drink with friends. A little bit 'trying to be posh' without being actually posh. Prices a bit expensive. 16.50euro for a normal nothing special burger. I've had much better but it was tasty enough...tastes like heinz baked beans as a tomato sauce on the dressing so if you like baked beans you will love the burger! Fyi the biggest beer = small beer peroni. Staff were a highlight. Our waiter was top notch. Super friendly and engaging and helpful. High praise to him sorry not to have caught his name all in all the dinner here was adequate but nothing extraordinary.
Only stopped in for a glass of wine but nice atmosphere and a good selection of drinks. I
Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. We enjoyed the raw tuna pizza, steak tartare for starters. As mains we had veal and steak. Both very well prepared, bright pink on the inside and caramelized brown on the outside. Wine was good. All in all a nice dinner!
Good service, decor, special dishes, $$.
Friendly staff, nice ambianceand great location. Truly "gezellig" as the Dutch would say. Went to get a nice latte but can't wait to get the food next time.
Terrible place with no understanding of service. The waitress spilled hot chocolate all over my pants, shoes and the newly bought jeans of my girlfriend. That itself can happen and is no problem. The way they are dealing with it is disgraceful and humiliating themselves. First the waitress tried to clean up the table and the floor !, But didn't care at all about me, or our stuff. Well, never even apologized. Further, she didn't wait on us at all anymore. Some kind of side kick manager came to us, ensured us they would take care of it and gave us their email address and told us to send the bill. Said and done, we thought everything would be taken care of. Wrong thought. They are discussing now with us through email, telling us to bring by the jeans. I live 6 hours away in southern Germany and I have to say: Thank you, but no thank you. This is not a way to deal with this incident and you didn't only lose two customers. Terrible behaviour, terrible management. Just shows that the people don't give a thing about their clients.
Delicious iced coffee! One of the best for my taste not as sweet as many others make them. The staff was friendly, joyful and helpful. The sandwiches were lovely!
