Zomerlust Country Estate

A photographer's paradise! As a photographer I've shot weddings at multiple wedding venues across South Africa, and I can honestly say that Zomerlust Country Estate is and always will be one of my absolute favourite venues to shoot at. Everything just works - from the lighting in the bridal suite and chapel, to the scenery and the friendly staff. Debbie and her team really goes out of their way to make every couples' wedding as stress-free and special as possible. Zomerlust Country Estate really deserves nothing less than a 5 star rating.

I will highly recommend Zomerlust for anyone. We immediately loved the venue when we saw it. Shaun is so easy to work with and took so much stress of my shoulders. It really helps to work with someone you trust, you have to make so many decisions when planning a wedding or event that small things like how the doughnuts should be packed etc can just be left in his hands. He also has great taste and advice and knows what will work together and what is unnecessary to spend on or waste time on. I wish we had photos of the food so everyone who wants to see it for themselves. But the food was delicious. Shaun offers so much value for money. You can have an all inclusive wedding with the dj included and a lot of the decor items that he has available. There is a very short but neat gravel road to get to the venue. Easily accessible parking that is close to the venue but also out of the way of the festivities. The only small criticism I would have is that the food was put away too quickly. Shaun said there will be time for seconds, so I would work more time in between dinner /lunch and dessert. I can't wait to see any future events and how beautiful it will be.

Attended a wedding at the venue. It is a nice rustic venue, off the beaten track. The service was great and the food excellent.
