What a magnificent surprise!! Do you need a place to take a time out from the eat race and technology? This is the place to be. In the bush, hiking trails, well equipped central kitchen and lounge with fireplace. Outside communal fireplace for a bonfire or braai. Even small hall for group gathering. From backpacker rooms to well equipped chalets. This is a hidden treasure!!
From first contact with the establishment, they very prompt in their response and extremely helpful. Upon our arrival and through out our stay their warm hospitality continued and nothing was too much for them. Accommodation is very comfortable, clean and well maintained with everything one needs to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful views from our porch. Hiking paths are well marked and well maintained with tree names and useful info about the vegetation, history, area and other info along the way. I just did one hike but will be back to do the rest! The communal areas like boma, bar and swimming pool are also lovely to use and add to an already perfect getaway. Zongoro Guest Farm is also easily accessible and just off the N4.
We took my dad for a weekend away for his 70th Birthday. These people baked him a cake, which is something we never expected, and so surprised us all! I have rarely encountered such friendly staff and facilities where everything is clean and everything works. My dad’s 70th was a memorable occasion thanks to this establishment and its people.
What an amazing expirience... so homely and serene.... Elsa was such a gem,catering to our every need. The pool was very exclusive and being able to go hiking in the morning made it more majestic!!... even their dogs are friendly : . We were a group of 10 and there wasnt even a single complaint form any1...
What a great weekend!! Most relaxing time between the mountains... Fishing bass at the lake was also relaxing and fun with my family. Thank you very much Hennie & Elsa for your hospitality, it was great!!! will surely visit you again...
Nice and beautiful place,hot water can do with some improvements,only vodacom line works their wifi is difficult to connect
What a pleasant experience! Learned so much on the history of the area. Staff friendly and service excellent. Will for sure come back and stay longer. Thanks guys.
