The local driver in Indianapolis was nice and easy to work with. We got two containers and everything went smoothly with our move. The only thing is that they can make it more clear that the container rental rates areas in addition to the transportation fee. It would have been nice if they used their text service to communicate more about the delivery of the containers. They sent me a text that they were coming to pick up which was really convenient. But when we were waiting for the containers to be delivered we didn’t get notifications until after 6 pm the day we ordered it which made moving very stressful because we were not sure if the containers were still coming. Other than having more text updates Pack Rat was the most affordable way to move and we priced it out with several moving trucks and moving containers. I’m pretty much nearly satisfied with the experience and would trust them to move again if needed. There was a three week lag time to get the container across country which worked out for us but may not have been the fastest way to get your stuff moved if you need it quickly.

Very disappointed that no one has contacted us about portable storage for our farmers' market. I followed up from quote to a note to Jamie Sellars, the referred salesperson, and found it was only a sham, and no response. If this is your front-end I can only iomagine how poor customer service would be if I actually rented a storage unit from PackRat. Will post this online as well.

When I called to inquire about the pod I was told that they would place in my driveway. Told them I had no driveway but a large yard with an alley access. On the day of delivery the driver stated he could not place in the yard. He left it in front of my house, which I agreed to. I did not plan to move, just store items while interior work was being done. The pod was what I needed. Was told later that I could have been fined for leaving the pod on the street. The young man that delivered was very informative. The young lady, Danielle, that picked you the pod was friendly and skilled getting the pod off my narrow dead end street.

Communication from the 1-800 phone number was horrific! Wrong information and outright dishonest updates. But Danielle driver from the Indianapolis office is AmAzInG!! Cannot say enough about her professional communication and skilled driving. She alone saved this from being a 1-star rating!! Call center: train your folks to be honest when they have bad news. Indy office: keep Danielle driving for Pack Rat! THANK YOU, DANIELLE!!
