6/2022: Finally we made it. Table for 6. BYOB! Get here early b/c parking can be difficult. One seating at 7PM. Plan to stay for 2.5-3 hours. The experience is great. The atmosphere is cozy. The service is pleasant and the food is delicious. This is a foodie experience. If you are picky or have several food restrictions this may not be the place for you. “You get what mamma serves.” Come hungry. Half way through the meal the table is invited to stretch in the garden. This is a treat and we can’t wait to return. With more wine. Cheers & Enjoy!
Food was superb. Tasty. Plentiful but just the right size for each course and portion. This truly is the most pleasant way to dine out and feel like you are at home. A great experience overall. Tons of food, a homey feel and a great staff. Absolutely worth the wait for reservations.
Excellent experience! Different from any other restaurant experience we've had in that it feels like you are truly eating in someone's home. Definitely agree with the other reviews in that don't plan on coming here if you're counting calories or prepping for a big event! BYOB as well. DJ and Michelle were awesome during our experience and a big thanks to Mary Lou who manages the reservations!
My husband made reservations 3-4 months in advance and it was worth the wait. As soon as you walk in you feel the warmth from the hosts. Is as if you just walked in to a family home, because you did. The food was delicious and it just kept on coming. Make your reservations today, you won’t regret it! Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options. They make sure to go over any dietary restrictions before you get there.
Very unique experience. The food was great, and they just kept bringing more and more!Food: 5/5
15 course meal. Beautiful home turned restaurant Owner/Chef. Great service, wonderful stories and history.Food: 5/5
Thank you for having us. This by far was one of the best old school family experiences we've had for dinner. The house is beautiful with a lot of antiques and history. The weight staff and chef are just like curators taking you through the history of the house and the family. All of the food was served in courses just like family style. You did not go hungry by the time you got to dessert. You were pretty much full. If you were an average eater. All of the portions were a good size. The appetizers I think there was 10 of them were incredible. The pasta was great. The shrimp was good. The chicken dish was incredible. We definitely enjoyed our experience. If you are looking for five star fine dining, this is not the spot for you. This is more of going back in time to when grandma and grandpa used to have you over for the holidays. Can't wait to visit this spot again. We did wait 3 months for our reservation
I would like to start off by saying this culture we have with restaurants demanding so much effort on our part just for us to spend MONEY at their establishment needs to stop. I called 15 Fox Place today and had quite possibly the worst reservation experience I have ever had period, whether it be for a restaurant, a hotel, or a vespa scooter. Worst and reservation are the key words here. I called back in the beginning of September and was told they had no space until January. I spoke to someone on the phone for 7 minutes, as evidenced by call logs, and hammered out the details of this reservation, that happened to be my anniversary dinner. I went on with my life assuming that it was taken care of. I called today to confirm and to ask a few questions; only to be told that no such reservation exists, which would have been enough to be annoying but not enough to review. What makes this extremely annoying and horrible situation even worse is the rude, flippant way the woman who answered the phone dealt with what was clearly her mistake as she claimed to be the only one who makes reservations at this establishment. She proceeded to, in no particular order, tell me that 1.The restaurant has become popular on tiktok so I would of had to call months ago I did, 2.That she guessed she cant tell me wrong because the customer is always supposed to be right, 3. Stated multiple times she doesnt know where she would of put my CREDIT CARD INFORMATION as well as everything else she asked for if we had actually spoken on the phone. Since we most certainly did speak on the phone, I dont think she was making the point she thinks she was when she repeatedly told me she lost my card info. I hung up the phone feeling defeated and crazy, only to check my phone records and see I did in fact speak to someone for 7 minutes in September, as well as find text messages between me and my girlfriend moments later excitedly discussing the reservation this woman said never was made. This was extremely disappointing, and I hope that this saves some people in the future if you do decide to dance for your supper, as so many restaurants demand these days some hassle when booking. Please ask for a confirmation email of some sort, and to the restaurant? Please work on your reservation system. If you would prefer to remain analog, make sure you keep the records, or as your representative said your booked until July, use some of those profits for an automated system. As your representative told me, this happens all the time lately, and I dont think that means everyone else is wrong. Thank you.
Well worth the 7 month wait! What an amazing experience! 15 courses of delicious Italian food. Feels like you're having dinner at nonna's house.
