For $1.50 for a slice of cheese pizza, its pretty damn good. You can't beat that price to flavor anywhere that I know. Place was clean and open air. Pizza grunt didn't talk much but gave friendly grunts as he threw the pizza in and out of the oven. I was expecting trash for a buck fiddy, but it ended up being decent pie. Vegetarian options: It's a basic pizza joint with cheese pizza - you can choose non meat toppings. They also have a "vegetable" slice and a "spinach" slice for $3.00 each
So check this out, this is a good but not great pizza place in the Time Square area. If you’re in the New York area as a tourist looking for some really really good New York style pizza this is not the place you want to visit. However, if your local or if you’re in a hotel nearby need something to eat real quick may be played at night displaces perfect. We flew into town from Southern California and we wanted to find a place that had a really really good New York style pizza and again this place was good but it was not great.
$3.99 for two slices of cheese pizza and a drink?? Shoot it was a good deal! The pizza sauce is a little on the sweet side but it’s still a good slice. The crust on it is good too. All in all not bad for what you pay for
Pizza is delicious and the service is great for the best priced Pizza in NYC! We walk by about 5 other pizza spots to get to this place and it is definitely worth the longer walk!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
For this really low price, the pizza was surprisingly very good. I’ll be back every time I’m in a hurry or when I’m not wanting to spend a ton on NY pizza. Can purchase by the slice or for a whole pie. They have a bunch of options too.
It was the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. My stomach still hurts after 8 hours. No idea of What ingredients they put in. 3 dollars wasted. I’d buy 3.75 cheese pizza from Joe’s if is knew it was gonna be this bad.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
Great price for a quick eat. The only complaint I have is if they run out of something, you have to pick whatever is left. They are not continuously cooking pizzas because they are serving and heating up each slice. But for 1.50 you really can’t complain. We got 4 pieces of pizza and 4 drinks for a little over $ 12. Curbed our hungry fix and was gentle on the wallet.
Really disappointing. I expected a yummy thin and hot NY slice, and instead got a lukewarm doughy piece of ordinary. I ate half in the seating area, super loud music blaring in the room, tossed the other half away. How can it be possible to find a mediocre source of pizza in NY??
I absolutely love this pizza joint. It’s insanely off the charts great and prices that can’t be topped. It really is a NY institution and a rite of passage for beleaguered and hungry world travelers. The menu is great and the setting is in a robust part of the city not far from the Empire State Building, The Garden, Penn Station and Port Authority. Travelers, take note: Great culinary pit stop here!
Decent pizza for unbeatable prize. Definitely must try when in NYC. Much better than any other of the 99c places around the NYC.
