2 Johns Steak & Seafood

Fine dining at it's best! 2 John's is one of if not the finest restaurants in the Shreveport/Bossier area. It is truly an upscale atmosphere. Complete with a piano bar. One thing I notice here is that the staff always step aside for you, the customer. I think that is awesome. I always try to give the server the right of way when they are carrying a large tray of food. At most restaurants the help will try to run you down or act like you are in their way. Not 2 John's, they always insist you go first. Yes it is on the high end price wise but well worth it.

Great ambience but good was very salty. Don't know if it was an off day because I'd only heard great comments before going..

Great service from the bar staff. Calamari appetizer was less then enjoyable. Great sauce though. Rating low for quality of food on this visit

Food was great, prices were extremely expensive. Service on a Friday night by older female server was mediocre. Our busser picked up where the server lacked alot. Our busser did a much better job than the server and is the reason for the 4 stars. He got his own separate tip. If not for him, I would not have returned. If you are not a regular or dress like a rich and fancy, you get less than mediocre service. The young busser fella is the only reason I would return and spend over $300 for 4 ppl to eat.

My favorite is the wedge salad with blue cheese. I’ve never had anything here that wasn’t delicious, though. Their fish is never over-cooked, and their steaks are excellent. The free martini at the bar gets me in the door, but the cuisine makes it difficult to leave.
