3 Hermanos Restaurant

We 4 celebrated my birthday at Tres Hermanos today with great margaritas and food that was excellent. To top it off, our waiter was friendly and charming. This will become our go-to place for Mexican food.

This was the first time my family and I came here after seeing some good reviews, so we decided to drive up from Caledonia to try it out. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, as the food was delicious and authentic, however the service was horrible. First of all, our server wanted to seat us right next to a table of about 6 young adults who were having some fun conversation, while the entire dining area was empty, so I suggested a different spot, not knowing it was next to a door that patrons can use, not to mention it was below zero out yes, we were that hungry to go out. Once we noticed it my husband asked if we can move and she rudely said in Spanish, “por eso te dije” meaning “that’s why I told you” which she never did. How were we to know people were using that door until someone exited? Our server was inattentive. She came to our table to take our order, bring our drinks and food out. That was it. We mentioned that we needed refills, but she forgot. Not sure if they were short staffed, but she did pay much attention to the table next to us. She even charged us for a couple of their margaritas! Where are the 3 hermanos when you need them? Hope they get her some help.

Its a local place here in Milwaukee, and we did not know what to expect, so we took a chance.. WOW O WOW is all I can say.. was so good and amazing..Will be back for sure... Features: If you want to wear a you can and if you don't want to that is your choice as well.....

The bar is fun. The vibe to me was kind of liken you find yourself in an old, worn neighborhood Mexico City or Havana late at night and you find a shabby-chic little dive bar to wander into. And have a great time! That's kind of what this is like.

This place is huge and has a wonderful outside patio. The owner is fantastic. Had a great night there dancing with the DJ.

My go to Mexican place. And when I say "go to", I mean I don't live in Milwaukee any more, but if I am back in town, or even a hour or two away, I will always go to Tres Hermamos, as I have for over 30 years. Even though i travel the country, and have eaten at literally hundreds of Mexican restaurants, every time I return I am reminded - they are the benchmark.

Delicious as always. One of the few restaurants I have not seen a price increase on take out since the pandemic. The guacamole is the best with crispy chips. Enough beans and rice to serve an Army. The best burritos in the midwest.

Great place to get authentic Mexican food! I'd love to come back when it's warmer so I can dine on their beautiful patio. Definitely recommend.
