Quality customer service from the owner himself! I needed a cab to the airport and called 10 hrs prior to arrange for a ride. My flight was cancelled and I called to cancel my ride shortly before pick-up. Though they have a 24 hour cancellation policy that they honorably enforce, both the dispatchers and the owners called me personally to discuss my unusual circumstances to ensure that no one was penalized. This business is professional and appropriately personal. I can ensure they care greatly about their customers' experience and I appreciate their kindness, diplomacy, and fairness.
Highly recommended. I loved the email confirmation. I used the service twice, to and from the airport. Upon arrival I received a text from my driver, and when I was delayed getting my baggage, I got a phone call to check on my progress. Upon departure my driver picked me up at 4:45 am, a little too early but he underestimated his time since there was no traffic at that hour. Both drivers were more than courteous. The cars were clean and roomy. I am talking my parents into using the service, too!
I am so incredibly dissatisfied with 5 Star Taxi and Limo Services. On Monday, I had scheduled a driver to pick me up from JFK Airport. This driver caused me more stress and problems when I didn't need any more unnecessary stress or problems which is why I hired this service to begin with. A close friend to my family had just passed away. While other drivers had people's names written down and we're waiting for their clients in a clear appropriate area- I was told by the driver- to go find him. Even though I made it clear- I had over sized bags with me I was physically unable to and the driver would not compromise to help find me. I then had to hire a man that worked at JFK to help me with my bags to attempt to find this driver from 5 Star Taxi & Limo Service. I was traveling alone. If this wasn't enough- the driver from 5 Star Taxi and Limo Services continued to be rude and disrespectful to me. I got into the car and it was an 85 degree day and the windows were down- I asked for the AC to be put on and the AC did not even work properly. I was still sweating and very uncomfortable. I didn't feel safe in the car due to his irrational behavior & his driving to even ask him to make a stop... so I could finally use the bathroom.... I felt like if I had asked to use the bathroom he wouldn't have waited for me and even more concerning I didn't know what would happen to my luggage in the car. Let it be known that I have even tried rectifying my problem with the manager- I called right away the day this took place- this past Monday. I was assured he would speak to the driver- and that he would call me right back. He did not call me right back. It is now Saturday and I made another phone call to him and the problem is still not rectified.
We were very pleased with our whole experience with 5 Star Limousine. The Suburban was very clean and rode well. The driver was prompt, neat, courteous and very helpful. He even helped us out gettin one of my grandbabies out of the car. Calling at 8 30 pm the night before, I never expected a ride. Our experience exceeded all expectations. Needless to say, we will certainly call when we visit NJ again and will highly recommend your company to friends and family. Thanks again. N. R.

Used 5 Star Taxi to go from Lyndhurst to Newark Airport with a 4:45am pick-up. The driver Mario arrived on time and provided us with a pleasant and safe trip to the airport! The car was clean and Mario was an excellent driver. Would definitely use this service again!
Dear Alex, I would like to thank your company for being able to get me to the airport on time. My other limo company did not follow through with the confirmation and left me stranded. You company at such a short notice came through for me with flying colors. Please thank your receptionist for doing such a wonderful job in location a driver to take me to La Guardia airport, and your driver who was wonderful in being here at the last minute. I've used their services several times with no problem, until January of this year that I needed a ride to Newark airpot and the driver came one hour after the posted tine, also last week that I call them to pick me up at Valley hospital and drive me to ny home after being release after a heart procedure and they turned me down and refuse to pick me up.For that reason I decided to stop using their service. Think it over before calling this people. THUMB DOWN FOREVER!!!!
I made a reservation at 10pm for my 6am flight. Needed them to come pick me up at 3:30am. They sent me an email confirmation and took my credit card information. I then get woken up at 11:30pm by the conpany telling me I will not have a cab the next day.
This "limo" service is terrible. Lincoln town car was all beat up and dented. Car smelled like pure perfume I could not even breath. The smell was so bad that it burned my eyes and set off my allergies. Luckily I pack Allegra D for situations like this. Otherwise I would have been sneezing my whole plane ride.
