I’ve have multiple bad encounters with the Male employee, with black low cut hair that recedes in the front, dark brown complexion, about 6 feet tall. First time I asked for a tobacco product and didn’t notice til after he gave me the wrong product. I asked for the correct item and he said they didn’t have it. So he decided to not inform me and sell me what he wanted. 2nd encounter, me and another customer who was in a rush had to ask him repeatedly to stop his side work to check us out. Tonight around 11:05 pm I walked in line behind another customer waiting on him to do his side work, once again. He was scanning in products. He told the customer it would be one minute and proceeded to complete the whole tray and then move on to a second tray. Finally when he was done after 3-5 minutes of us waiting, he checked out the first customer. When it was my turn he then started putting up cigarettes. I asked for his name and he ignored me. I told him it was not good customer service to have customers waiting while you do side tasks and I would be reporting it because he thinks it’s okay. I understand being in the middle of something and getting to a stopping point but not ignoring customers until you’re completely finished while they wait minute after minute. He smirked and didn’t say anything. This guy severely lacks customer service skills and likes to openly spread his misery to customers because he works at the Shell gas station on woodlawn as well being rude there.
Check your receipt got overcharged for an item and was told to take it up with management instead of adjusting whats on the packaging. Smells like the owner of this store has been scamming little by little to feed her pockets. Stay away you have been warned.
I came on Saturday, November 6 at 1:30AM. I prepaid gas & went outside to fill up gas. Nothing flowed from the pump & upon returning the cashier was unnecessary rude when I politely asked if the pump was turned on? “Go check the pump” he repeated 3x’s like a robot every time becoming louder and louder & during the entire interaction not once did he make eye contact with me or look at any other customer there were 5-6 now, he simply continued to staring down at his screen & got increasingly agitated. Me: “Are you stating that you just did something to turn it on because I was just outside less than a minute ago & I checked it” to which he replied “That’s what I am trying to telling you: go check the pump [now]” I told him “In the future, you could just say go check it [now] or go check it [again]. Obviously I did check the pump or else I would not be standing here so as opposed to repeating the same thing just louder and louder, just articulate your thoughts clearly & respectfully. I just walked out. The guy was unnecessarily rude. I will not be back due to this unpleasant experience. The cashier is a mid-30s 5’11 black man with the face of comedian Jordan Peele & the tied-up locs hairstyle of singer “The Weekend” from 2013. I didn’t see his name tag.
Don't come to this location to reload cash, the cashier acted as if he was competent when asking him if they did it here, then he hand back a money order, which he could not void not refund. Then he lied an said I asked for a money order...Liar, he was not competent and he should went an got help from a manager. Just Nasty
This place always stinks. They need those airfreshener sprayers or something. Smells of musk. Great service though and fast. Barely any fast food items though.
Every time I've gone there the past few weeks to grab a bite. Usually the chicken tenders. I've been given an excuse about not getting any on the truck and once that it hadn't been unloaded yet. Once they told myself and another customer that there wasn't any cooked and went about their business. Okay when I first started getting them they would cook them to order no matter how late. Tonight a little after 10 they told me and some more customers that the oven was broken. Really! I pay their price for gas and I cant get good inside service. These guys that work at night up there are just lazy.
Yesterday I stopped in this location to get a pack of peanuts. The lance peanuts has 2/$1 plain as can be on the packaging. The register rang up $1.18 for 2 packs. Cashier and I believe who is also the owner would not over ride. I think that’s against the law. I will not go back to this location. This is the second time they would not over ride a advertised price.
My debit card was skimmed at the gas pump today between 4:30 and 5 pm. Someone went inside and attempted to purchase $91 worth of merchandise. Please check your gas pumps for skimming devices with regularity.
One ofthe numbers on the keypad outside wasn’t working. So I had to go in and explain it to the clerk. He just kept saying my card was declined. The other clerk just ignored me.
Cashier was very nice......But the store was dirty, dirty, dirty and the shelves were damn near empty. Management needs to do better.
