I have lived in the area for over 30 years. This 7‐11 was my store of choice. Visited it almost daily. About 7 or so years a go it became a hang out for homeless the 1st few years they try to keep the people clear. Over the years it became a place just not feel safe. I drive 3x farther out my way to avoid dealing with them all. Only stop there when it just a must. Sad it was a nice store. For over 20 years it was my choice for a quick stop. It's turned to a hangout For people to ask for money.
What is the deal with this 7-11 being a hangout? Tonight there were 16 people just hanging out in front if the store. Only one of them went inside to buy anything. I had to ask 3 of them to move to be able to get past them back to my car. Finally the clerk came and cleared everybody out but it's like this EVERY time I've been here. Why is this such a spot??
It's never a dull moment at this 7-11 location! Despite the location and the people who are frequently in or around the store, I really haven't actually seen any problems at or near the store. The employees are so much nicer than all the other 7-11s. They were EXTREMELY patient and polite to me when I was in there a few nights ago and causing an incident. The store is pretty clean and their wide variety of merchandise is neatly organized in the store and on the shelves. 7-11 franchises in general are places I like to shop because of the 7-11 brand that has their own unique flavors for ice cream, chips and all kinds of things, and when they do their own flavors they do it right! Like their BANANA CREAM PIE ICE CREAM ... omg... if you have had it you know I need not say more!
Do not give your business to them. Workers cant be bothered to do their job. Even the Manager doesn't wear mask properly and when asked, refuses. Will get rough and man handle and steal your phone if you try to video it, even a injured nurse wrapped up arm in ace wrap. Police file reported. Corporate office was informed too.
This is by far the best 711 ever! My daughter came here tonight to spend the dollar that she was given by the tooth fairy and she was having trouble picking something and the young black man working tonight told her to get whatever she wanted. She modestly picked one candy bar and he had her get like 10 bucks in teeth rotting junk food that made her so happy. Lol thank you young man and shop here for sure
The man working right now was rediculous. I ordered 2 of each chicken fingers and 2 jalapeno, 1 pack of cigs. He couldn't remember what cigs I just settled for and second time he was close but 3rd time he actually managed to get them. Of course, he had no clue what food I ordered. Told him again. Haven't checked to see If he accomplished getting that right. I asked for taco sauce and ranch. He directed me to empty containers 2 different places and made no effort to assist me or restock. I spent an extra $5 on condiments that are usually free. Im used to a well run location out in Linnton I guess. Luckily I wont ever need to come here again. Im sitting here watching drug deals right in front of the store while I wrote this. Messed up.
Tonight at approximately 11PM I was attempting to purchase a drink at the aforementioned location and the clerk a hispanic gentleman had allowed a whole bunch of prostitutes and drug dealers to convene in the store and harass customers. I explained that this is unacceptable. I left without purchasing anything. I sat in my car and watched a black gentleman sell drugs to 2 different people on the front stoop of the store and then watched a homeless person piss on the garbage can out front. I was blown away that this allowed to happen. I told the black man to stop selling drugs. He threatened to blow up my car and kept grabbing at his jacket chest pocket implying he was reaching for a weapon. I called the PPB and filed a report for menacing. PPB 18-1060. The owner here, Nouman, has been asked to be a good neighbor and he is not following through. As of tomorrow I am going to pursue suspending the Oregon State Lottery cert, Redbox service, ATM service and OLCC permit for this location. I am also going to have the Community Watch Group and Neighborhood Association cosign these efforts where appropriate. The neglect of this corner and the permissive attitude/complicity in criminality are UNACCEPTABLE.
This 7-Eleven is so bad and full of tweaks and hookers. I stopped in to buy some milk and I think I was the only one there who was not on drugs including the folks behind the counter. The people behind the counter were on their phones and never acknowledged our presence once. I didn't look at the milk until I got home and it had expired a week ago. I will never go to that 7-Eleven again.
They dont make customers wear face masks. At least 10 people including store manager had no face mask on. Was also extremely rude with customer service.
The guy working there with glasses and longish hair was super nice the surroundings was probably one out of ten but the cashier was great
