Blown away by the experience I had here. First time visiting Baltimore to see Billy Strings. Ended up here at the 8x10 for the Kitchen Dwellers. BILLY ended up sitting in for a few songs. I was beyond enamored by the experience of the clearly magical club. More than that. The owners Abigail and Brian are wonderful people and a power couple that clearly love their club and patrons that visit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!
Small joint that really comes to life when they have events. The owners are great down to earth people who just want to keep their bar opened so please follow the mask mandates where applicable. The place has a small area upstairs my favorite spot and has two bars . When you first walk in you think you’ll feel like it’s closing in on you but I promise if you give it a chance you’ll fall in love. It’s also near some parking garages and a lot of food options. I’d definitely go back!
A Baltimore staple. Super small hence the name and intimate music venue. Don’t miss an artist you are a fan of if they play here. Really nice bartenders w lots of bars. I rarely wait in line or get a bad spot even when sold out. Sometimes other famous artists step for late night shows like Billy’s Strings did during the last Kitchen Dwellers show I was at.
What a magical evening with Caroline Jones!!! How special to be with her in such an intimate setting, making it feel like a very private concert but watching her incredible energy, off the chart talent and natural beauty on top of all that!! And, at the end of the night, have her sign merchandise, and have the opportunity to have pictures taken with her AND get hugs from someone well on her way to major stardom!!! And, the 8 x 10 club in Baltimore is such a cool place!! Abigail and Brian, the owners, are pure gems!!! They really care about having people really enjoy their time at this intimate club!! And.... the sound is also top notch!! That also takes care!! Can't wait to return! Just a special night!!
Smaller venue with an eclectic lineup. Sound is good. The techs seem to know the room and have the levels perfect. Be sure to get there early for a good spot near the stage ... if you are stuck in the back - the sight lines are not good.
Small venue but that can be implied from the name but thats not why I gave it 3 stars. A real lack of security here, like none on the inside. 2 guys at the front, one taking tickets and one doing wrist bands. In my younger days that would be great but when your trying to get to the bathroom and people are literally standing in the threshhold to the stairwell looking at you like you're in the wrong thats kinda messed up. So only 1 person watching the door and nobody on interior crowd control. Came here for the artist, not the venue. Would have to really want to see the artist to come back here.
Using NFT/Blockchain for concert tickets is a bad idea. I'll not be returning here as long as they continue to use NFT for ticketing.
Really rude door guys. Fairly rude bartenders. Just wanted to enjoy Jerry's bday, but I couldn't keep my purse or water bottle with me. Free water, but $9 beers?? There were maybe two other people inside with COVID ppe. "Enjoy" the spot at your own risk. I suggest saving your money.
Venue was spot on. Really awesome small town place to see music in a "big city". Bartenders more than attentive during performance. Would go back without question. Go see a show here you wont be disappointed!
One of my all time favorite venues! It is super intimate, yet you have plenty of space to get your dance on. I moved super close right before quarantine, and am so sad that I most likely won't be able to enjoy it any time soon. As soon as it is safe to visit, I will be there!
