This place has been an amazing shakeup in my workout routine. I had been going to a traditional gym for years and was getting really bored. 9Round changes every day to keep things interesting and the 30 minute workout is perfect for my schedule. I look forward to working out again and I’m feeling physically great! Plus, the trainers are super nice and great to work with regardless of experience. Can’t recommend enough!
9 round Wauwatosa is a must! When I first joined In, 2021 I was nervous about working out. It had been years since I had last been in the gym. At first, I was very intimidated walking into the gym where I saw people doing pushups/ jumping rope/ and punching bags, but I still went. The trainers/owner of this gym are very friendly and helped make my nerves go away. The trainers showed me how the whole 30 minutes workout works, and I started to become comfortable going to the gym. Not only do the trainers help you, BUT they also help you through your healthy lifestyle journey. Joining this gym was the best decision I made. In addition to getting over your fears of just trying it out, also note: The workouts are always different day to day to keep you challenged. Friendly members, clean gym, and great music! Give them a try, you won’t regret it!!
I’ve been working out a long time and this is the best 30 minute workout around. Great for cardio, core and strength training. Every week is different. Lots of fun. Actually look forward to going
There are so many reasons I love 9 Round. Sorry this is a long one! I've been going since the New Year 2-3 times a week, and it's never boring, always a challenge. I'm 52 years old and was NOT fit to start, but over time the difference in how I feel and how much stronger I am is amazing. The more you go the stronger you get and the harder you work, it continues to be a hard and good workout! The thing I think I appreciate the most is how much it makes my mind work. Trying to do different sequences of things and then switching left vs right keeps me concentrating and I know is helpful to my brain and body. 52 year old talking. Also that distracts me from how tired I am! Also, punching and kicking a bag is such a great stress relief, especially after a tough day. This is coming from someone who always hated the aerobics classes that incorporated kickboxing moves. It is SOOO much different when you have gloves on and are actually connecting with something. I also love all the trainers, they make sure at each round you know what you need to do for that 3 minutes. They also push me to challenge myself. You can tell they love to teach. If you are looking for a workout you will want to do multiple times a week, is challenging and FAST 30 min, and never boring, this is the place for you!
Just had my 10th workout at 9round this evening! I have been very “anti-gym” for a few years but this place does not have the dreaded “going to the gym” feeling for me. The nine workout stations changing upon each visit keeps things interesting and fun, and you get to learn some new things along the way. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get into better shape, regardless of their “fitness level” starting point. Also it’s just fun to punch and kick stuff :D
I have been going to 9round for ~5 years and this location specifically for ~3.5 years ... and I LOVE it! It is such a fun and challenging workout. The best part is that it only takes 30 minutes! There are NO class times .... you just show up whenever you can and jump into the 9 station rotation. Its so much more convenient than similar kinds of group classes/HIIT training companies that force you to sign up ahead of time and then penalize you for missing. The staff is always also so friendly and are really interactive with everyone - have never had a "bad" trainer here. If you're thinking about trying it - DO IT
A hidden gem, out of all the various gyms I’ve tried I love the options and style of 9round the most and I keep coming back every time I’m in town! The trainers are always open to supporting your personal goals and working around any physical limitations you share with them, and I have yet to meet an attendee who isn’t equally welcoming. Go at whatever speed you want and get as much of a workout as you need I love the competitive nature with yourself, the updates post workout help me compare with my previous workouts as a way to see progress without using a scale. 10/10 recommend to everyone of all physical skill levels and interests :
9Round is great because their workouts are efficient and change daily, and I can start whenever my schedule permits. In addition to the flexible schedule, the trainers are friendly, knowledgeable, and care about your fitness goals. The trainers often give me the extra push I need to make a good workout great.
