Small shop that knows their stuff. This is the first time I've left a transmission shop feeling confident about the work that was done. They went out of their way to get my truck back to me in a timely manner when I was in a bind.
I got my F-150 pick-up truck with 195,000 miles on it. when the transmission went out at 215,000 miles, I started comparing prices and asking people's opinions. A-1 had the best price, and most reputable reputation in Lubbock. I went ahead and had them fix my truck. Now my truck is running better than ever, and even has a warranty!!! FAST is not a good enough word. They work at light speed!!! VERY courteous. SUPERB service. UNDERSTANDING employees. EXCELLENT work. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing transmission work done!!!!!
Super friendly staff who will tell you as much as they know and never misguide you. They are also very quick, I had a new transmission in my truck within a week. They are on thr cheaper side but you aren't going to get this quality work for dirt cheap!

Took our 2010 Chevy Tahoe to this shop on Monday February 10th with a problem with my transmission. We are so pleased with the work and honesty received from this shop. Ken is a good ol boy and we will recommend them to everyone we know!! Ladies sometimes we are scared to take our car to a shop in fear that the shop will screw them over because we dont know any better but we didnt get the run around,just straight foword answers.
