A-1 Cleaners by Daisy Fresh

I have been using this cleaners for by dry cleaning and laundry for years now. On occasion, a shirt comes back from the laundry with a stain on it that wasn't there when I dropped it off. They check them and I check them when dropping them off. In the past, they've sent the newly stained shirt in for a "re-do" but it happened again today and the manager said that she wouldn't re-do it for me. She said that they've done it several times true - they stained it, they corrected it but that the 'owner' wouldn't allow her any more 'credits'. They've had to re-do shirts for me when it was their fault 3 or 4 times over the last 5 years. I spend about $400 a year there. Not that much, but I hope they feel that losing my business over this makes sense for them. I will not be giving them any more of my business.

I had my clothes dry cleaned and picked up today. The store smelled like cigarette smoke. Why am I paying for dry cleaning costs in a store that leaves the stench of cigarette smoke in clothing? I now have to get my clothes dry cleaned again….in another place. Ridiculous.

Best price in the neighborhood, free pick up and delivery, fast service! I often expedite my orders and they are always willing to accommodate. The store manager Domingo is super chill and he knows a lot about how to take good care of different types of clothes with smallest budget, rather than just collecting and cleaning them. I know Domingo since he was the manager at the 81st St old location and I would not trust anyone else for my clothes and all other cleaning needs.

I just moved to the neighborhood and tried A-1 based on the positive reviews. I had a TERRIBLE experience. Dropped off a jumpsuit, one with a couple tiny pretty insignificant stains I was hoping to get removed, which they said would be no problem. The jumpsuit came back looking fine, but then when I wore it out in the daylight it was apparent that whatever they used to remove the stain created neon white circles that glow in daylight. The cleaners refused to compensate me for ruining the jumpsuit stating: 1. They farm out the cleaning to someone else and can't take responsibility for the outsourced work. 2. They couldn't possibly compensate every customer with a problem so therefore they could only reimburse me for the cleaning bad sign! shouldn't have so many problems! They were horribly rude and completely apathetic to the destruction they caused. Definitely not worth it to use a cleaner who is not going to be responsible for the lack of good service they provide. Great service! I have been going to A-1 for a couple of months now. I can always count on their fast and friendly service they provide. Whenever I need one of my suits dry cleaned, they have it done within a day! I also use their pick up and deilivery services which is completly FREE! It fits my busy schedule. I highly recommend A-1 for any of your dry cleaning needs!
