Someone "adjusted" our hitch-mount Yakima bike rack, by backing into it in a grocery store parking lot. The most important structural part was bent to the point of tearing the steel, and the rack was unusable. Yakima listed that part as replaceable, but showed it as out of stock and gave no info about when it might be available. James repaired the part for us, as good or maybe even better than the original. His work did cost a little more than Yakima's price for the part, though WAY less than what an entire new rack would have cost. And they didn't have the part anyway, so their price wasn't really meaningful. Plus, James's work didn't have a shipping charge. So all in all, I feel I got a good deal and I'm thoroughly happy.
James is a one-man show that provides superb work! I needed some work on a very expensive part that was deficient in strength from the factory. I showed James what I needed done, and appreciated the fact that he could also see how the factory part was deficient in strength. The manufacturer has corrected this issue in later model years, but I can't afford $1600 for the newer part. So, James to the rescue. James' work is a thing of beauty! This work is stunning, and from my own welding experience I can see the welds have good penetration, providing substantial strength to this part. Thanks James!
Very happy with the welding extremely well done and priced
Joe and his team were so helpful and efficient! We had to fix a bike rack and they custom made a new part for us within minutes, and for a great price. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good welding shop!
James came up with some outside of the box ideas to solve a niche need for me. He Designed/3d printed/fabricated the final product with incredible speed, communication, and competence. Highly Recommended
Called James for an estimate for downsizing a wrought iron door. He gave me a great price and we scheduled a time when he could come to my house. He was on time and very courteous. Did a great job, I will definitely use and recommend him to my friends.
James did a great job welding my broken running boards including removal and reattachment of the boards from the vehicle. His price was very reasonable and his 'can do' attitude was much appreciated. I highly recommend his work.
Ill give them 2 stars, simply because 180 to fix a small crack isnt a reasonable price, so im not sure if the people saying it is are suffering from heat stroke or have a big enough bank account that they wont miss 180 bucks these days
