Best Italian restaurant I've had in the South Bay. Everything from the drinks to the appetizers to the pastas and desserts were top notch in their class. Came here for a little Halloween weekend date night and was super pleased. Dog friendly in the patio area too! Though there were some ants on the ground that got on my golden retriever so just be careful when setting yourself in place.
In terms of food quality and taste, this place is an insult to Italian food. The caprese was alright with decently large mozzarella and tomato slices. However, once we got to the entrees I felt like the place was joking around. All the dishes were hilariously overcooked except for the scallops. The linguine verde bolognese was mixed and overcooked to the point where I thought I was eating baby food. I couldn't even pick up any of the pasta when rolling it on my fork. It literally fell apart when I tried to pick it up. The risotto had decent scallops but I wasn't sure if this was a risotto dish or congee. The rice had all been cooked to the point where they were popped. Finally the veal was cooked to the point where it had no flavor or texture of veal anymore. They try to cover up the overcooking of the veal by topping it with prosciutto which just makes the veal taste like ham. I'm not sure about you but I wanted to eat veal not ham. The service was mediocre. At least they were dressed the part. But the attitude and feelings I had gotten from my server were childish and petty. I get better service at the local In-N-Out. Overall if you're looking for a quality Italian restaurant, look elsewhere. This place's cost for the food quality and service makes it feel like I got ripped off.
We had a reservation for 8pm and they sat us down at 8:45. It was as if we came in without reservations. The hostess, a young blonde girl, was rude to us when we first got there. She told us to wait outside in the cold for the rest of our party even though most of us were there. We were only waiting on 2 more. Once everyone got there, she sat the reservation that got there later than us FIRST, so we waited even longer. After that, she complained to us about other customers. She said they'd been there for 3 hours and that it wasn't her fault that we hadn't been seated yet true, we weren't blaming her. Her attitude is what caused the issues. It was a bad experience. A hostess should not talk about seated customers to other customers. It's not classy. There's almost no vegan options and the waiters are not knowledgeable about the food. I had to go back and forth with my waitress to find a dish for me. Their menus don't have any disclaimers for allergies or whether it's vegetarian/vegan. I had the vegetable soup since that's the first thing they could come up with that would be altered to be vegan. It was okay. One of the people in my party threw up her food later in the night carbonara since it wasn't cooked properly. I also had the spicy margarita, which was surprisingly spicy. I liked it. Overall, way too expensive since the food isn't prepared too well, it is not accessible, and service is not classy.
Place fills up fast so recommend going with a reservation. They have room to sit inside and out and parking space by the restaurant but that tends to be busy. The staff was great and so was the food. Ask for the specials also. Food came very fast for the appetizer but was on the slower side for the four entree. They are very accommodating with kids or any request you may have. Seating felt a little tight and I think the place may feel hot inside on a hot day.
Great service and food quality! Forgot to take a picture for the calamari and salad. Both are amazingly good.
Nice italian restaurant in the area. The food us good, not the best and the service was slow. I believe it is pricey compared to what you get.
Food was AMAZING! We sat at the bar because we got there without a reservation. But the experience couldn't have been better! The staff was helpful, courteous, and just super nice. We got a couple of wines and a couple of cocktails. They had a great selection of both which served as excellent accompaniments to our food. We ordered Buratta for the appetizer, which was just beyond comparison. We ordered one order for 4 people and we each got a bite and a half. For entrees, we ordered fettuccine Verdi Bolognese, the Gnocchi, a Medium rare steak, and Gamberi a shrimp dish. All the dishes were exquisitely prepared and served super quickly. We were checked on constantly by a very polite staff. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants excellent Italian food at reasonable prices!
Great place for a special occasion! Service and food are great. The calamari, tiger prawns are must have appetizers. The pappardelle all'aragosta was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Came here for dinner with my gir friend. We loved it. Last time I came here was 4 years ago. Abbi was our server and he was great. We loved to see great fine dining service. Bartender Freddy was great. We enjoyed a cocktail after dinner. Everyone was so friendly. We will definitely go back. Bar area is small so definitely plan on dinner instead of just the bar. I will return. Place is small but cozy and great service makes a big difference. Thanks guys.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Campbell! Good selection of wines, good appetizers and tasty bread. Love the squid ink pasta. Good dessert options as well— I recommend the gelato and panna cotta.
