A to Z Inspections is a top notch quality company. Greg and Edward were my inspectors and did a great job. They documented anything in question and were very thorough. They spent a lot of time during the inspection process and explained everything afterward. I highly recommend A to Z Inspections, as there are other inspection companies out there that just want to make a quick and easy sale for realtors. I appreciate A to Z Inspections’ diligence and transparency of any issues that came up. I also would like to thank Jack for going out of his way to call me and make sure I was satisfied a few days after the inspection. Great company!
A to Z Inspections were very thorough, as a first time home buyer purchasing an older home I could not have ask for a better team to be on my side. They were on time, polite, and professional. They reviewed all findings with me at the property. A to Z made sure I understood the reports and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality inspection!
As a licensed electrician its nice to experience dealing with such professional home inspectors. Every detail in their report was thorough and deserved. Such an attentive inspection helps contractors like me solve the issues quickly for customers allowing them to close the deal on their home. I will suggest A to Z for all my friends and family in need of residential and commercial inspections.
Updated – I noticed Jack had the audacity to call me a “chronic complainer” and that I was not telling the truth. Fact: inspector showed up over 1 hour late Fact: only one person was on the job, not two inspectors as he claims. Fact: the inspector does not have the same credentials as Jack, so even though Jack has been in the business for years, his associates he sends out only had a few years experience. Fact: The inspection report was submitted to myself late Fact: Jack never contacted my realtor, as I was the one who contracted the inspection. If Jack wants to reach out to me to discuss his lack of commination skills I would be happy to discuss. Clearly you can tell from his comments below that he needs to learn something about customer service. BTW – I reached out to you Jack to have this conversation via phone, but you didn’t answer so I had to leave a voice message…I’m still awaiting your call back!!! They were more than an one hour late to appointment. When they did show up they did a good job with the inspection, however the report was late by several days and I had to call them to get an update on it. The communication is horrible and when you need the information almost real time to make housing purchase decisions then it only compounds the problem. I would suggest using someone else.
Jack and his team are wonderful people to work with! Professional, kind as well as thorough. We know that if you have an A to Z inspection ,they will actually inspect the property. They also guaranty all the inspections they perform. Best in the business.
I've read a couple of reviews that people have lied about Jack and his company. They are making up stories and were not customers — I can tell by their descriptions of Jack. Shame on you for using Google's reviews. Jack inspected my house and was very thorough, patient and followed up with a phone call to see if I had any questions.
Jack is unethical, is a fraud. The following is an outline of my experience with him: 1. First time buying a home, I bought and paid cash for a property from Robert Elder of Complete Home Rental this was my first mistake Robert Elder is just as bad as Jack 2. Robert Elder recommended Jack to inspect home 2nd mistake I should have not used an inspector the seller recommended. 3. Made appointment with Jack, who was very familiar with the property yet did not advise me that I could request the water/ electricity to be turned on for inspection 4. Jack arrives swipes through the house, literally spent less than 30 mins and hands me the report. As I am reviewing the report I noticed that there was no comments pertaining to any thing electric I.e outlets that need to be replaced, breaker box, pipes etc. when I asked Jack why he said to me why didn’t you have the water/electric turned on! Again I had no idea this is what I needed to do. He passed the house with flying colors. 5. The way Jack engaged with me was shady, he was reluctant to share with me any information he perceived as negative. I became increasingly aware Jack did not have my best interest in mind, clear to me he was protecting the sale for Robert Elder! 6. I highly suspect that Jack receives incentives by realtors mostly and investors such as Robert Elder to pass inspections, create favorable reports to push a sale through. 7. I then had to hire a different inspector and pay another $200 the two reports vastly different, Jacks erroneous report was absurd. When I presented Jack with the new report and requested a refund from him, he cussed me out and hung up on me! Do not trust this guy, he is shady! His actions are nefarious. Dealing with him was a nightmare!
