Don't let the outward appearance fool you. This Catholic bookstore is a HIDDEN GEM. We stopped by to browse and ended up finding some Catholic treasures. The owners are helpful and will guide you to purchase the right book for spiritual reading or a gift for family and friends.
As you walk in the store, you will find many statues, DVDs, Catholic art and Catholic gifts. At the back of the store you will find many Catholic books. If you are looking for Korean or Spanish Bibles, you can find them at this store, although you might want to be aware that the Bible translation will not be based on Douay-Rheims Bible (correct english translation of the Latin Vulgate), but on the Revised Standard Version that has been edited by modern Bible scholars (Protestants, Atheists, etc.) who do not believe in the inerrancy of Sacred Scripture.
At this store, we found a great selection of Catholic (pre-Vatican II) books by TAN books and Loreto Publications like The Catechism Explained by Rev. Spirago & Clarke and The Imitation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus by Rev. Peter Arnoudt. You can also find Conciliar Catholic books (i.e. Vatican II theology) by Liguori press and Pauline media as well as Protestant theology oriented books. Check if the book has an imprimatur or ask the store owner if the book is Catholic or not.
The store owners also spoke to us of the challenges of keeping a Catholic bookstore open and their mission to keep the faith alive by providing a venue for people to come and learn about the Catholic faith. The owners welcomed us to pick up some freebie books (special section in the store) before our departure.
Few points to note before you visit the store. Call them before you visit as they might be closed on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Metered parking is available on the street and might be difficult to obtain as the store is located near restaurants in the neighborhood.

Very holy, kind, and loving married couple. They have a wide variety of catholic books, devotional articles, and learning tools. If you can't find what you're looking for then they will find and order it for you. They are accommodating and knowledgeable about the faith and many of the things you may want to give as a gift or for yourself. It's nice to have a place to go to in order to strengthen your faith in God. I highly recommend this store to many people from my church and anyone who lives nearby.

They have just about everything in religious items, including Greek Orthodox knotted rosaries. Aldo and Emily are extremely knowledgeable
and friendly. It is a great little shop!

The owners are a married couple. Always pleasant and extremely helpful. Go out of their way to please. Knowledgeable if you have a question and willing to order something for you if they do not have it. This is the only place to go for special sacramental gifts.
