When we first embarked on our search for a photographer, I asked my parents, 'Who was your wedding photographer back in the 80s?' -- and would you know it, it was Abbey. They are still around and as exceptional as ever! Neal Clipper, the son of my parents wedding photographer was our main photographer for our wedding on April 12, 2014. The day we met with Cookie at their offices, we knew that Abbey provided the type of personal service that we were looking for to capture the essence of our wedding. We first met Neal when he shot our engagement photos at Branch Brook Park. He is someone who makes you feel comfortable and happy in every pose or candid picture that you're taking. He knows how to capture moments and truly create art with his photos. Neal, Sean and Brendan were our photographers for our wedding day on April 12 and every one of them was so excited for us, complimentary of the elegance of the wedding and truly a joy to be around. I had a bunch of photos in mind that I wanted to capture and Neal made sure that all of them were taken to my liking. We just received our digital proofs and one after the next looks just absolutely beautiful. We are so thrilled with Abbey and know we will be hiring them again for parties and events to come in the future. If you select Abbey for your wedding photography, there is no doubt you'll have pictures to last a lifetime. 30 years later, my parents photo album is still in tip top shape and I know ours will be too. I hope to work with Abbey again 30 or so years from now when our future children get married. They are the BEST around.
