118th Fort. I'm glad I found this location, they seem to be very friendly and they usually have everything on their menu. Other locations are a hit and miss. I really enjoy dining in their store. I like the decorations and the food is made fresh per order. Yum Yum Yum. Features: No mask requirerement upon entering. Yay!!
Went by yesterday and ordered 10 hard shell tacos. The tacos were fried so hard it was tough to eat. It's always a hit or miss with this location. I think I'll just stick to the one at S 108th and if I do visit this one it will be just for soft tacos during taco Tuesday. Customer service was nice though.Food: 2/5
Good authentic Mexican food. Freshly cooked. Not too spicy. Festive atmosphere inside. A few tables outside. They also have a drive through if you know what to order, it's perfect! Features: No masks required
Went to try the drive thru. First time eating here. Split the steak super nacho with roommate and got chicken taco and horchata. Nacho are definitely enough for two ppl and perfect. Wasnt liking chicken taco but recommended the horchata drink.Food: 4/5
Delicious, authentic Mexican food, the quality is consistent and a solid 5 for items on the menu. The bean and cheese burrito smothered in queso is amazing and normally it’s huge but the last visit was much smaller so I’m giving it a 3. Hope this isn’t the new norm.
Went through the drive through and was charged for a Texas Rice Bowl the most expensive item we ordered but got home and it wasn't in the bag. Edit: they did give us the missing item when we went back, but we don't live close so it was inconvenient. I added a star after they gave us our missing food.
My husband and I usually love their food, however tonight I was incredibly disappointed. I ordered the chicken chipotle burrito Chicken Chipotle Chicken, Fries, Rice, Lettuce & S. cream. It was missing the fries and sour cream so it was a spicy chicken lettuce mess. My husband got a burrito with fries and sour cream so this wasn’t a supply issue, it was just a bad burrito. My chicken was chewy so it was overall inedible. I won’t be going to this location in the future.
I should have read the reviews before going here, but I figured with all the 5 start ratings it should be good.... Got two items since this was my first time, Super Nachos and Steak Fajita Quesadilla. The quesadilla was ok, the steak was pretty much non-existent and if it wasn't for all the onions and peppers this would have been really bland. The super nachos were a super let down. I asked for the ground beef topping and it came with a LOT of ground beef, however it wasn't seasoned at ALL. The cheese they used was just plain shredded cheese, no white cheese sauce.... what authentic Mexican food doesn't serve white cheese sauce with their nachos??? Hopefully other people had better experiences than mine with those two dishes, but no thanks... Prices were OK given the quality of the quesadilla.
First time, last time... My son wanted Mexican foodafter soccer, so we decided to try instead of a quick Taco Bell, which we don’t like, but probably would’ve been better. Service: Poor. I had to ask several times to speak louder because I couldn’t hear the person at the drive thru no dine-in available. Price: Expensive for what you get. Bill mysteriously had over $3.49 in charges we couldn’t figure out. Was not given a detailed account, only the ‘charge’ slip. I questioned and they acted like they didn’t understand my question - repeated what I ordered instead of giving my detailed receipt. Presentation: A sloppy, soggy mess. I took my chicken out of the tacos, used my sons lettuce and cold beans and ate like a salad. I couldn’t handle all the liquid and the soggy tacos. My son powered through the soggy enchiladas - saying they were ok. Positive: CHIPS & Cheese! Chips are hot and crisp, while the cheese was cool but not coagulated. A bit spicy, delish though! Eat quickly or the pooling grease on the bottom will make the chips soggy. So much grease! Return: Nope. My son and I love Mexican food, and we love trying new places, unfortunately we had a horrible experience and it just wasn’t worth the $26+ lunch, for 2 tacos, 2 enchiladas & chips/cheese. Maybe it was the crew working, location, take out verses done in, or maybe poor luck... try for yourself, hoping you have a way better experience!!
The portions are smaller at this 118th and Fort location. I usually drive the extra 5 minutes to the one near 90th and Maple to get better sized portions. I will do that all the time now in the future after getting a half sized portion this time. The location on 40th and Dodge is really good also. Maybe they need a better manager at this location, because it was hard to place the order inside the restaurant at the front counter because the music in the kitchen was blaring too loud. Turn down the music so you can hear your customers order! That way you don't have to crouch down to the little plexi-glass hole to stick the ear out to listen to the customer! Duh?
