Abrams Realty Property Management

Is the worst company of realty property in Norfolk area my husband and I need to rent a property, they supposed to help us but they didn’t. We are interested in a property and nobody showed us, just ask for papers and more papers and a proof of marriage, could tell why did you asked for that, if I sent the taxes and obviously showed that we are filing married jointly. This is ridiculous. We called multiple times and they answered. Always is a something different. I didn’t recommend this company. Be aware of that.

EDIT TO RESPOND TO THEM - you have had SEVERAL neighbors complain about a certain residence with proof of activity and have done NOTHING... Said tenant is bringing down my property value! I would NOT rent from this company. They allow tenants to knowingly do questionable/illegal activities out of their residence.

Excellent rental property company! They made automatic payment for the rent easy, personable owner and staff, and handled repairs quickly using reliable vendors! Highly recommend this company!

Take care of their customers by bringing in too class vendors. Reply in a timely manner.

Maury was/is the BEST. I don’t think I’ve ever met a realtor so nice, honest, efficient, reliable.. in my life! If I could ever recommend a realtor it would be Maury Dial. He’s a dedicated hard worker that gets the job done! We purchased a house in Norfolk, while we’re still in California and Maury made the process so easy for us. Couldn’t have ask for anyone better. Highly highly recommend!

They told me several times they would call me when applications were reviewed, never received a call. Once we were approved they were going to email me the lease, I had to call and email them several times before they finally emailed me the lease. We are moving in on a holiday, they didn’t even take that into account..... I had to call and notify them of the holiday, but they were understanding and worked with me so we could get our keys early. Just expected better customer service skills!

I was recently in the market for my first home and stumbled upon Abrams Reality. I had no idea what I was getting myself into or how stressful the process was but Debrah Byrd made it more than enjoyable for me! She was the biggest help and truly a blessing. She listened to what I wanted and cared about my needs when it came to a piece of property. She was available to help at any time and never made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her with my random requests and questions. I would highly recommend her to be any one's agent. She truly cares about her job as an agent and that's obvious with how she treats her buyer's! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Andrea Holland was fantastic! She helped us when another realtor failed us completely. She stepped in last minute and made us her priority. She suggested places to look at, was quick to respond to any communications, and made us feel very comfortable. A great experience.

DO NOT USE Abrams Realty! From their agent Brandon that I dealt with to the owner Liz! BEWARE, STAY AWAY! If you have good credit and a solid income, GO ELSEWHERE! You’ll be glad that you did! When my lease is up, I am out! Note to Abrams, when you read this, and if you want to let me out of my lease with NO PENALTY and return my deposit, I’ll move out ASAP! Otherwise, I’ll fulfill my obligation, but until then, I’m going to make everyone that I come in contact with and even some others, as well as realtor associations that I seek out, aware of my experience with this grossly incompetent outfit! This has been a bizarre experience from the very beginning! For example, to start with, they gave me someone else’s name and financial obligation information, on MY lease! WOW! That had to of broken a rule or two somewhere, you think? Then, ruining my move in date on the night before by telling me that the place was cleared out, clean and ready to go! Well I have the pictures to prove that it was NOT! Costing me money everyone knows what planning, help & $$ goes in to a move, not to mention, where is my family going to go? Costing me even more $! Then 3 1/2 months after finally moving in, Liz tells me that I owed them more money for late fees.... WHAT??? I was NEVER LATE...., I’m set up with automatic withdraw! Then she says.... “Oh, no it’s not a late fee because your rent was never late.... it’s a fee that we failed to charge you initially”!!! From 3 1/2 Months ago.... That THEY FAILED to charge me.... now I owe a mystery fee!! Smell the incompetence? They should actually owe me money because I lost a heck of a lot more $$ then the fee that they say I owe them just with returning the rental truck and all that my family and I have been through with this outfit! I work very hard and when the time comes, my money will be spent elsewhere! I cannot stress how extremely incompetent and unprofessional Abrams Realty are! Bottom line!!! I’ve noted a long list of issues! I have a timeline of events that span 5 pages long at this point! Which I’m holding on to because I just have a feeling that I’m going to need it for future use. It would fill up this page and I would probably run out of characters. Crazy thing is, I’ve only been renting from them for going on 5 months now! Imagine that, 5 months! I still have 7 months yet to go! The apartment, it is great! The Saddle Wood Condo Community is a great community! If only the owners of this property knew how their hard earned money was being spent to have Abrams Realty represent them the way that they are! Sad! Again, STAY AWAY!
