Came here for some bagels during our weekend in New York. The line was out the door but it moved relatively quickly. Keep in mind that this place is CASH ONLY! I got a sesame bagel with cream cheese and nova and it was pretty good! Also enjoyed a sesame bagel with her cream cheese. Coffee was hot. They also had hot chocolate.
CASH ONLY MOST IMPORTANTLY. Wow! This place is so delicious. Line was wrapped around the block and it took about an hour to get up to the front but the food came quickly. The staff calculates your total right in front of you and CASH ONLY!!!!!! Thankfully since they do hand calculations we had a second to sprint to the nearest ATM and grab some cash. It was $27 for both bagels which was more spendy than I thought. Overall the bagels were delicious. The crunch, freshness and taste is incredible. The cream cheese is so fricken good too. Next time I’ll probably get something a little cheaper & more simple but definitely worth a return visit.
This place can get long lines sometimes! Plus it's CASH ONLY so remember that when you are going there. Anyways, we love the bagels here! Nice and chewy texture and a slightly crispy exterior. We love ordering a bunch of them to go with the bagel and ask for an order of scallion cream cheese on the side. Eat as much as we can and freeze the rest. Sometimes send them to family in other states. We ordered bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel once. That was okay, the eggs can be better, we gave it a try but again mainly here to get bagels.
The epitome of a good bagel. Crunchy crust and chewy center no toasting needed!. Not hard to bite into. Flavorful. Thick schmear. Perfect ratio. Great price. Actually the best I’ve ever had. Got in line around 9:20 am and waited for 30-40 minutes. Once at the counter, service was quick. Cash only. Worth it! I recommend the onion bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese.
Absolutely delicious bagels with great chew and texture but it is cash only. $1.75 per bagel with baker dozen at $21. They have all the regular bagels with over 10 different cream cheese filling options and also can toast the bagel. They also sell cream cheese 1/4 pound at around $2.75 for plain and $3.75 for non-plain. They additionally sell tofutti, salads, meats etc.. Open early around 6.
I’ll keep it simple: best bagel in Manhattan. The spread to bread ratio is perfect and the bagel oozes with flavor. Small spot so the line can get big but it moves pretty fast. Cash only but there are several ATMs nearby. We enjoyed our bagels at a nearby park before our bike ride around Central Park.
Hands down one of the best bagels in NYC. It’s soft inside and crunchy outside, you can feel the bite and it’s not mushy. We’ve ordered the Nova with cream cheese and it was outstanding. Definitely recommend this place. Bagels usually cost around $2, and Nova with cream cheese was $14.
I was asked not to eat bagel anywhere but here. And it was totally worth it. I went back and got 2 more of them. Tried 4 flavours Jalapeño Sun dried tomato Walnut raisins Olives and garlic All were amazing.
Fresh bagels, quick service but the line could get long in the morning. Lox spread was fantastic. I would also recommend their egg bagel with blueberry spread. No place to really dine in.
Incredible bagels! Feels local and friendly. We tried a plain bagel with butter, amazing. We also tried an everything bagel with butter and scallions cream cheese. Out of this world. It also wasn’t too expensive. We would highly recommend this place! Note: there can be a line, especially on the weekends but it is worth the wait.
