Great Friday the 13th Tattoo Flash deal - $13. Everyone was fun and professional. Mel did a great job on my flash tattoo! Will definitely come back! This is my 2nd tattoo, both done by female tattoo artists!
I went for a Friday 13th tattoo and will be coming back a lot! Everyone was so friendly! The artwork was fantastic. My tattoo looks great. It was all female artists and I’m really excited to continue to support this female run business! Highly recommend!
I came into Abuela's looking for a difficult cover-up. A lot of bold black script. My artist was Ermis. Ermis had a great plan on how to tackle what I wanted. I couldn't have been happier with the end result. The shop is clean. The staff is friendly and professional. And most importantly, they do great work! I highly recommend this shop.
This was my first tattoo and everyone at the shop was very patient and easy to work with. Yaya did a great job and was very willing to work out every detail I wanted...she is awesome. Great experience, great shop, and I have a amazing tattoo that means so much to me. Go visit them!
Highly recommended. I stopped by Abuela's for the first time this weekend. Eddie greeted me like a friend as soon as I walked into the shop. We brainstormed some ideas together and once I was comfortable he set to work. I'm really, really happy with the results; he is a true artist. I'm already planning my next challenge for him. Bonus! - I ran into the Abuela when I was walking into the shop. Such a kind lady.
First time I went there it was pretty great. But the second time I went there it was a nightmare. Some of the staff was rude to me probably from the stress from overbooking , there was alot of misinformation and choas. I like the tattoo I got but the tattoo artist who did it made me feels very uncomfortable and I'm not sure I want to go back for a fix or another tattoo. The second visit I had to wait was over 6 hrs because of misinformation so I ended up waiting all that time outside with others in over 80 degree heat. When I finally had my turn for my tattoo I just wanted to get it over with because of my heat exhaustion not noticing the design on the board didn't match exactly what I was being given a couple changes in it. I asked later after getting home about it and got called out and compared to other customers about it by the tatooer he didn't once say he could help me till I mentioned what happened when I visited the store about the board image not matching. When I provided evidence of the difference of what was being advertised to the original artist he acknowledged the person who drew on the board made a mistake and that my tattoo artist could change my tattoo a bit to make me feel a bit better about it. But my tattooer felt I was trying to pick a fight I guess? In my confusion at first I didn't know there was a error but when I found out the tattoo I got was suppose to be the original design I was ok with it. I just wanted a small change. But now I'm too uncomfortable to go back even though the other staff was nice. I'm stuck here with negative feeling about my tattoo. I should of paid attention more or brought someone with me at first so I could of caught this earlier. Probably would of caused less stress. By the way the tatooer and original artist are different people If you want to get a tattoo or a Friday the 13th deal this is a good place. But for me I've had better experiences else where.
The Parlor was very clean and Bones was very nice, but messed up a very simple tattoo where details matter the right side did not match the left side. I’m sure they are better with more intricate tattoos.
I love this place and highly recommend coming here. Also check out the Instagram page @zaratattoos. I just got my second piece from her and every time I leave I'm thinking about when I'm going to come back.
My first tattoo was a matching tattoo with 2 close friends from Darren aka Bones. I was able to draw something up and he made some edits, but ultimately I got something I create and it looks great :
