First when I walk in I greeted the lady she didn’t even respond later In the evening I needed to buy some stuff so I decided to call before driving since I live far away. While I was speaking to the lady I heard someone talking over her with angry manners, next I know they hanged up the phone. Very rude no customer service not business oriented no wonder the place is empty
The best Injera i ever try for many years! too much lieng jealous peapl in comment section, the people ther are nice so kind sweet they respect everyone and it is the place to find best injera
For a shop it’s size the selection is found wanting. Could do more on delivering to customers as well. Overall, a great place to shop many things Ethiopian.
Great shop with great prices. Helpful service and fresh injera though the injera line can be long on the weekend, so come early!
They make injera and they don’t have food handling certificate. She never change a glove. She use one glove and take money open and close the inside door. Why she cheap for glove for $3.00 for 200 piece. I already reported to city of Oakland.
She never changer her cloves. First of all it is not food gloves and second she use the same gloves to take money and count Injera. Disgusting. It is $4 for 100 Pisces of food cloves
Very rude lady, she’s too old to have such bad manners. The injera was ok, not that great.
Abyssinia Market is one of the first injera stores in Oakland-San Francisco Bay Area that features a special brown teff and barley mixture. Loved & popular for the past ten plus years, making it a staple in the community, their injera doesn’t bloat the stomach and has the realest taste and ingredients in comparison to most injera I’ve tried in the whole area. I assure you this injera tops the list as best in quality & taste how it digests and most like the injera back in Ethiopia/Eritrea. The best! And the owner is a sweetheart I love Abyssinia! Do not be mislead other stores injera have not been around as long and don’t emphasis on taste and ingredients. They either short hand you on authenticity or ingredient and taste. My favorite injera Tadu’s Kitchen features their injera also please request it
Very bad customer service with bad attitude
Very sweet auntie helped me around the store. Come early if you want the fresh injera!
