Academy Sports + Outdoors

I did a lot of shopping for fishing equipment which was a A plus by going there. Only thing that I didn't like is they don't hardly care my shoe size which is a size 16 but I give them five star because of their good customer service though if you looking for a good service person in the shoe department look for the wild headed mixed guy name Markus J. He's a good sales associate. He bends over backwards to make sure the customer finds what they need and what they want. Two thumbs up to you Markus J.

Bought new shoes here, I had a gift certificate. Shoe department was all mixed up, most of the shoes were not under their display. I finally found what I was looking for on my own. The cashier was very nice and did a good job. I think she was manager, since she went to help other cashier after checking me out.

Always enjoy going to academy, and I've always thought highly of the customer service as well. Only one negative mark throughout the entire store. The prices cound be a little lower. But because that isn't up to the local store, I can't factor that into my review. Great place to shop!

I was greeted at the door with a quote "they won't all you to walk around with a backpack" . I'm on a motorcycle and any item I purchase I have to ensure it fits my backpack. More importantly how can Academy ask me to leave my backpack bur not all the purses I seen. Over the years I've spent a lot of money there. Today is likely my last trip. Before I waited almost 2 weeks for firearms. I finally found another employee on duty who informed me my background clearance had BEEN approved. There is a real issue with your establishment!

Needs more long fishing pants. Lot of people don't fish in shorts. Size 2x or 44/30
