Acclaimed Collectibles

Honestly the only reason I go to the Hanover Mall anymore. For the longest time I would opt to go to the Braintree Plaza over the Hanover Mall simply because of the variety of stores there. Then this great store came along and it won me back. My trips to Hanover almost always center around this store now simply because of the friendly environment, great conversation, the video games and all the collectibles and comics around. The only thing that gets me and my friends into HM anymore.

My husband is an avid collector of action figures, comics, and things of that nature. He found a figure there that he'd been looking for at a great price, got it home, opened it and attempted to move the figures articulated arm and the arm snapped right off. We live a ways away, so we couldn't go back the same day but did so within a week. He explained the situation to one of the sales clerks who in turn went to get who I presume to be the manager who was very friendly until he realized that my husband wanted to make a return. The manager went on to tell my husband that the problem sounded like a packaging or manufacturer issue which he's not responsible for, and justified his response with using the analogy that "if you buy a PlayStation, and it breaks you don't go back to Best Buy you would go to Sony" and in a tone repeatedly asked my husband "what's the name on the back of the box?". The manager then "offered" to give my husband a store credit, and when my husband returned his tone the manager condescending said "there is no reason to get mad, I'm trying to do you a favor, and I'm going to loose money on this". My husband picked up the figure, told him to forget it, that we'd glue it, and we left the store. As someone who also works with the public in a retail environment as a retailer you have to stand by what you sell, and whether a product is faulty or damaged onsite you assume responsibility because you're selling it. Also you've got to make it a priority to keep your customers happy, an unhappy customer is far more likely to tell others of their unsatisfactory experience than a happy customer would about their good experience. Incredibly horrible customer service, you should be ashamed of yourself!!! Buyers beware, they don't guarantee the merchandise that they sell.

Love this place they sell everything and the customer service is awesome the people that work there are awesome so much fun!

I love the colleicttible store i rate it a 10 out of 10 thay have amazing stuff
