Would give 0 Stars if I could. Tried returning a socket that I never even used because it was the wrong size and my dad had already fixed the part by the time I got home and they wouldn't let me return a brand new item not even 24 hours after I purchased it. Absolutely horrible customer service. The guy was extremely rude and treated me like I stole it or something even though I had the receipt and everything. Do not expect help here.
I hate to leave this review, but I must. I've been coming to this Ace hardware for 20 years. I have a rental property about a mile away and spend between 500 and $1,000 here every year. Today I go in and in addition to spending money to buy tools, I need to use the bathroom. Sorry no public restroom. They tell me to go next door but there's no public restroom there I walk around the entire shopping center no place to go to the bathroom. I'm not sure how businesses intend on staying open if they want people to shop only at times where they don't have to go to the bathroom. I'm older, and when I need to go I need to go. I will unfortunately be taking my business another direction going forward as I can't always plan on spending time in your store and shopping for things to be told I need to drive who knows how far away to go to the bathroom. Shame on you Ace hardware, people in your store buying things, and no bathroom.
This is our go to place. The counter/manager is always helpful and very knowledgeable. We have never gone and they not had what we needed. Today it was supplies for the swamp cooler.
Absolutely sorry I bothered to drive out of my way to this store. I usually like to shop locally. Of the three male employees I tried to get to assist me, one in his eighties?, One about 18 and another who would not even acknowledge my presence I am so glad I didn't waste my money here. I wanted assistance with small cabinets and hoping to find something for a bathroom. I received NO help! As I made a minor purchase I mentioned to the cashier that I had intended spending a lot more money. Her attitude matched the three males I encountered. She obviously didn't care and in my opinion felt I was wasting her time. This happened at approximately 3:00 p.m. on Thursday the 6th of August. I can see why Ace hardware is seriously going under. Maybe these four poor excuses for employees are waiting to be laid off and hopefully collect extra money from us essential workers. Management obviously doesn't care. Will NEVER go back.
Fast service and the prices were right. Thanks for all your help.
Make you wear a mask or won’t serve you cause I guess they’re smarter than the gov. Had to stop in to grab some Tapcons for my job site down the street. They have a sign that says “no mask no service” and if you don’t wear one the employees will cry or call the cops. I guess some hardware store owner is some really big genius and has some data that he’s not sharing with everyone else. Only reason I bought anything here was cause my company was paying for it or else I would have gladly drove out a little further to Home Depot for reasonable prices and most of all no masks or mask police. Definitely not coming back.
Older gentleman treated my 97 year old father really bad almost would let him return a brand new part that didn't fit. The lady at the front desk was horrible to each of us on several occasions. There's only one nice helpful guy there at the key counter.
This place is not a friendly place. An older man working there was not nice when asking us to put a mask on. If he would of been nice about it we would have been more willing to compromise, however we took our business elsewhere.
Great experience, didn’t even know they had personal services such as getting custom glass cut I needed a replacement one for my door. They were able to provide service on the spot and I got my replacement glass within minutes! Will start shopping at Ace more often than other hardware stores, very personal and convenient! Thank you!
I just left this store after the manager Nate was extremely rude to me. I won’t ever return to this location. I came in to get a fitting for my propane setup. The first employee was kind and helpful and Was trying to find my fitting. Meanwhile the manager, Nate, started looking on the computer and said the part is no longer made. While he told his employee to go get another fitting I was attempting to explain my propane setup as he interrupted me and said in a very condescending manner, “if you would just hold on...” at which time I had enough and asked what his problem is and told him he’s being very rude. He then asked me why I’m talking to him like that. Very weird. I told him to relax as he stared me down in an aggressive manner with both arms stretched out on the counter. I told him I’m a customer and he’s being very rude. He didn’t seem to care. I asked for the manager and he looked at me again in an aggressive way and said, “I am the manager!” At which point I gave back the fitting and used a few expletives before exiting and confirming I’ll never return, where he then stated for me to leave then. I was not rude until he was rude to me. I asked another employee for the store number and his name and will be filling an official complaint. This man does not deserve to represent ACE Hardware. If this is how Nate treats his customers, I feel bad for the employees. I can’t imagine how he must treat them.
