Ace Hardware

My biggest frustration is when I get an item that is marked for 21.99 and it checks out for 44. I could understand if one item was misplaced in that area not honoring a price but when the whole shelf is filled with that item, a store that wants a repeat customer would honor the price. I always want to support local businesses but when the cashier is also not helpful, I will support other businesses. Very disappointed as I have always had positive experiences at Ace.

I am super disappointed. This store has completely gone down hill. I made sure I walked the whole store, walked every aisle, not once was I asked if I needed help. Four employees walked by me and I was ignored everytime. I also stood in the main aisle to be seen and nobody asked. Not only that product was just thrown on shelfs or spots are still empty. Mostly every aisle was blocked, obviously they had just gotten their truck but never have I seen it where you can't walk down a aisle in any store! I decided not give my rewards number and I wasn't even asked if I wanted to sign up. My bag also ripped before I even got to my car. The changes to this store itself, products and the staff that is currently working here is just a disgrace to what ace is known for.

They are unable to more order bolts for me and only have one in stock. Hillman part number 33741-c

I went in to get a replacement key for my car. All was well until Keith started setting it up in my car. He struggled a little bit and asked if I had any extra alarms or security systems on my car. I said no and after about 10 minutes he finally got the key programmed to my car. We went up front to pay but we had only made it to the end of the parking lot when 3 new lights came up on my dashboard. When I went back in and said “some new lights have appeared on my dashboard” Keith got defensive and started telling me that those lights were already on when he started my car the first time and that his machine “wasn’t capable” of doing that to my car. I know what lights are on my cars dashboard. I drive it everyday. I returned the key to get my money back because he was very rudely adamant that he could never possibly do that to my car. I took the car to an Autozone promptly afterwards and they were able to give me a printed sheet of all the codes that my car was throwing that Keith’s machine had triggered. I understand that Ace Hardware might not be able to fix what they did to my car but a partial refund would’ve been nice considering I have to now go and get these lights turned off manually. And at the very least for them to own up to their mistake and apologize would’ve made me feel 100 times better and I probably wouldn’t have returned this new key. I will never ever ever be returning to this Ace location and I hope someone gives a stern talking to about customer service to Keith. His lack of empathy and his immediate “well i didn’t do it” behavior was extremely childish and embarrassing on his behalf.

I stopped in to pick up some angle aluminum and the staff was very friendly and help me locate it. The store was very clean and well organized. If you're looking for a hardware store this is one I would recommend. Cheers

The manager helped me today with an issue. This guy’s on top of things. I also noticed he was respectful towards his employees. I’ll keep coming back

Took some time but found what I needed and the employees were very helpful
