I started my path to optimal health 8 months ago, and Dr. Burke has be integral to this. The results are undeniable and truly amazing. I have seen results not only in what I was seeking to be treated, but in other areas that I did not realize were not healthy based on underlying issues.
Another important point, is that Dr. Burke was trained and licensed through the state of California, which is the highest accreditation. She is a licensed Dr. of Oriental Medicine. This is extremely important to me because the state of Michigan does not regulate or require licensure to practice acupuncture. This means, ANYONE can claim to be an acupuncturist without having any standard of care applied to them. This was a major reason I went to her first, after researching many acupuncturists in the area.
She also only practices constitutional acupuncture, which is what I was in search for when I began the process of finding a true acupuncturist. "Constitutional acupuncture is a type of acupuncture based on a form of Oriental medicine in which treatment is based on a person's constitution. According to this type of medicine, the constitution is the specific way a person's organs affect health and how he or she looks, thinks, behaves, and responds to treatment."
I highly recommend her, and have taken my son, and other family members to her. It's truly been a gift and a great act of self care that I am grateful for.

Wow, is all I have to say! I've had chronic low back pain for over 10 years, stemming from a car accident I was in when I was 14.
I made a resolution to myself to phase out pain killers in early 2014 for health reasons, so I began researching ways that I could possibly relieve my back pain. I've tried pretty much everything including massage, chiropractic, and everything in between. I went to two local acupuncturists before Doctor Burke based on their reviews and price. I spent almost $1,000 between two other acupuncturists in about 5 months and unfortunately got very little pain relief.
I started going here March of 2014, and one thing I immediately noticed is the amount of time Doctor Burke spends with her patients and her sincerity in wanting to help you get better. I was initially concerned about price, but after getting two treatments from her, I noticed a world's difference from the other two clinics I went to previously.
I'm now 85% free of pain and haven't felt this good in over a decade!!! I still go 3 times a month in order to get the blood flow stronger in the area and because the treatments are so relaxing. 5/5 stars -- her place is always very clean, great smelling, and has amazing energy.

It's rare to find a doctor who cares about the whole body. Dr. Burke is caring, effective and enjoyable as a person. My treatment was peaceful, not rushed and while I did have uncomfortable ache in my elbow, it was not unbearable. I was able to relax and breathe through it. It felt much better the next day. highly recommend!

Dr. Susan Burke changed my life. I went to her after being diagnosed by my gyno with endometriosis and ovarian cysts. I didn't want to go on the frightening sounding drugs that were recommended by the MD. Instead, after following her dietary advice and getting regular treatments, I felt and looked better than I had in my entire adult life in less than 2 months. It was incredible. I continued to see her throughout my pregnancy (which occurred thanks, in part, to her!) and had a really wonderful pregnancy.
She's a caring, knowledgeable, and very experienced healer. I recommend her to everyone who tells me about any variety of issues - anxiety, carpal tunnel, back issues, reproductive issues, etc. Seeing her is an investment in your health, and ultimately your life. Her treatments are 100% worth every penny. And the deep relaxation you feel when you leave is a fantastic bonus.
