AD Movers

Movers were professional and fast. The POC who I assume is the boss was not as professional. Apartment request for their insurance was unresponsive until I called a week later for the same request. I was told this is not the normal way we do things. It was then submitted to me instead of to my apartment. I requested movers for 9am and when they weren’t there, I called and was told they would be there 15 minutes which they were. I told him I only have the loading dock for two hours and his response was, “Well why would you do that?” Because that’s what my apartment allows. The movers accidentally knocked the legs off my desk while moving and had to stay an extra hour to fix it. I was charged for that extra hour until I called and he tried to explain why it was something wrong with my desk. He said I’ll take off half an hour. Although I was disappointed in his unprofessionalism, I tipped the movers, but I will not use them again. I shouldn’t have to request their insurance multiple times, I should have received a call if they were going to be late and I should not have to pay extra for accidents made to my furniture.

I didn’t get a chance to use these movers but I had called frantic one morning trying to get movers over Mardi Gras/ Ash Wednesday, moving from Uptown to the French Quarter. The gentleman assured me he could handle whatever I needed. Fast forward, a friend from work offers to do the move so I didn’t follow up, but AD Movers did. They called to check in and see if their services were still needed. What?! I was in total shock and so appreciative. I will definitely call them when I need movers next time.

Admovers team did a great job! They were extremely gentle with all our belongings and busted their butts to get the job down quickly. They were 15 minutes early for our 8:30am appointment. We did lose some time in the drive from one location to the other, not sure if it was GPS or traffic, but when they were packing/loading/unloading they definitely were going as quickly as possible. The move included travel time to two separate apartments for belongings and moving it all to a 3rd location. Move was completed under 4 hours!

I wouldn’t even bother calling any other moving company. I’ve used AD twice and they were professional and handled my furniture and belongings as if it were their own. Friendly, reasonably priced and very responsive, they are a great company to work with.

I called AD Movers when another moving company did not have my confirmed reservation on file. I was stressed out because my move was just in a few days. On the phone, the gentleman who helped me was extremely courteous and professional. They moved quickly and smoothly from an apartment building into my new home. The two gentlemen were easy to communicate with and were very nice. I also thought the price was very fair.

Hiring AD Movers was the best decision we could have made. They were able to get us a team at the time we wanted when we only scheduled a few days in advance, they showed up on time and ready to go, and Christian and Dee were quick and amazing. They even figured out how to get our large furniture down the spiral staircase without damaging anything and in the case of our box springs - out over the balcony. I don't even know what we would have done without them. Over the phone, Adonay was incredibly friendly and professional, and their prices are better than all the other similar-quality movers around. I will definitely recommend them to any friend of mine who's looking to move.
