It may have been a somewhat gray day but our Classic Harbor Line Architectural Tour was a bright spot as the day brightened up. What a thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening way to spend the day while seeing the city from a new vantage point on the water. Having lived a lifetime in the metropolitan area like myself or being a NYC tourist this experience would be equally enjoyed. The Manhattan yacht is a beautiful, comfortable, well maintained vessel expertly Captained as we we were well attended by the mates. The guide from the American Institute of Architects was well informed as he readily pointed out landmarks sharing their history, use, design and his insights. He was available to answer questions. We enjoyed our sparkling NYS wine and a cheese board as we navigated from Chelsea Piers around the entire of Manhattan on the Hudson River and East River. Don't miss this unique opportunity. Happy sailing.
Unforgettable experience on the Champagne and Cheese Pairing Cruise. Most beautiful boat we’ve been on in the Hudson. Views along the route were perfect, captain and crew were professional and hospitable, boat was clean, food and drinks were high quality, bathroom was clean and large on board Manhattan II. We would highly recommend. Only complaint is that we would love a longer experience
So worth it. Our entire party of 13 all live in New York and we were still thrilled to see the skyline from the water. The sunset cruise Manhattan II along the skyline to the Statue of Liberty was amazing. Boat was immaculate and comfortable and our waiter, Andrew was so good. It was a great way to celebrate a bachelorette party. Definitely recommend it. Wish it were two hours instead of an hour and a half.
I went on their NYC Architecture Cruise that circles the entire island of Manhattan. My husband and I had a great time. The views are excellent, and it's nice to know some background to done of the interesting buildings we see regularly. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We really appreciated that he added humor, as well as addressed some of the controversies about architecture and development in NYC including how development affected poorer and POC communities. I highly recommend the Around Manhattan Architecture tour. I can also recommend getting the mimosa bucket to have something tasty to sip as you cruise.
Went on the Skyline and Statue cruise with a bachelorette group and we had a great time! Our boat- the Manhattan- was cool and comfortable inside during a 95 degree day and the breeze from the bow was so refreshing. The staff is energetic and lovely. The tour is well narrated by the captain- not too much and not too little. Just perfect!
Did the sunset Manhattan cruise which was 90 minutes and was excellent. The boat was lovely and you were not rammed in and had your own table which was really nice. All of the staff onboard were really nice and helpful and the service was pretty quick for food and drinks. Snacks onboard were very limited but okay and same really for the drinks. The cruise was really comfortable and you could also go out to the front of the boat to get some great pictures. I paid £180 for three of us and I would at it was definitely worth the money.
Short: Great NYC skyline tour on a classic boat Long: Very friendly staff loving their job and city showing you around on a classic boat while you sip drinks or snack something, won't get any better. Very safe, easy to do even if you are not a "sailor" and plenty of beverages available plus a clean lavatory on the vessel. Pricing is not cheap, but depends on the number of people coming along. There's a bunch of different tickets to have, our favorite was the sunset tour - all images attached were made on the boat or standing in front of it.
Amazing cruise to see the city skyline! The layout on board is great, You pay a little bit more than some of the other cruises offered but the boat is lovely, clean and your own table by the window. The price also included a drink alcohol or soft drink and more available from the onboard bar. Our cruise lasted 1.5 hrs and was great value for money. Lovely coffee shop also where you board. I would highly recommend this tour
We attended the jazz cruise. 2/13/22 It was nice and warm in there. The band was perfect..not so loud There was a clear plastic diving the tables. The champagne was good. I order "love poison " it was bit to sweet for me. Everything was on time .I didn't give it a 5 start because the staff didn't know what liquor the bar was serving . We asked for volka and they said they only had Grey Goose my BF is allergic to that one. As we go to the bathroom we stopped at the bar and there was a variety of vodka and other liquor beside what the person taking order was offering
