Advanced Sleep Center is the only stand-alone sleep center in the Greater New Orleans area that is accredited by The American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Story

Advanced Sleep Center is dedicated to providing high quality sleep medicine to the community, in the form of education, diagnostic studies and therapy for sleeping disorders. We are a 4 bed AASM Accredited facility that provides state-of-the-art sleep testing in a clean, safe, bedroom-like atmosphere. We promptly communicate user-friendly, easy to read test results to referring physicians, patients and primary care physicians.

Staff physicians are Board Certified in Sleep Medicine. Our physicians are available locally to provide Sleep Medicine consultations and to discuss studies with referring physicians. Our tests are designed to diagnose sleep apnea, narcolepsy, leg movement disorders and other sleep related disorders. Our knowledgeable staff will verify your insurance benefits and work with you on scheduling an appointment. Appointments are available 7 days a week.

At the Advanced Sleep Center, we employ experienced Polysomnographic Technicians who are either registered Polysomnographic Technicians (RPSGT), or in the process of attaining Registration. Our Medical Staff includes Three specialized Board Certified physicians to provide you with the most accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment plan possible. Those specialties include:

Physicians Board Certified in Sleep Medicine
Physician Board Certified in Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine
Our sleep experts offer sleep medicine consultation, comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and follow up services. You may choose the convenience of utilizing all of these services, or only those needed services.

While you sleep, a RPSGT will monitor your study from a state of the art control booth, where various elements of sleep are recorded, using electronic sensors, video and sound to ensure complete and accurate analysis of your sleep disorder.

Medical Equipment

Our office carries a wide array of machines and masks for CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) and BiPAP (Bi-level Positive Airway Pressure) therapy. Our DME (Durable Medical Equipment) technician is available to to properly fit you with the appropriate mask.
