The new ownership has done wonders to this place. The atmosphere is great and so is the food! We got a couple of things from the menu and everything was tasty! We will def be back
Food was slow to come out. Bhajia was very greasy and only came with ketchup. Red beans and fufu were alright. Could have been more flavorful overall.
Be aware off this place...check your take out order...otherwise you will be unhappy like I am. On this Sunday October 30th I. Allen and place a to go order with them I ordered to a lamb maffé, and Senegalese Yassa plus sweet plantain and sukumacollard green...I specifically asked the lady on the phone to charge me extra for the lamb meat..all together my total was $74 and some changes plus I leave a $20. You would think as a first time customer I would be impressed...they loaded both soup the maffé and Yassa with bones only and rice didn't cook all the way through. Lesson learned certain black people they are excellent at thieving you. It was my first time and surely my last. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE...I failed to do so because I trusted their service because on google you are a 4 stars.
I’m truly apologize for the late review but I promise I’m still thinking and the great service wonderful food. I always eat okra soup. But this time I tried the pepper goat soup. OMG, is was amazing the vibe is even better bathroom very clean dining was just beautiful with beautiful souls inside. I have not been able to get back because I live far away but it’s very good for me to buy any where else. I tell everyone about this amazing place
I travel to ATL for work for a week and I experience my first taste of African food it was awesome I'm thinking of going back just because of this food I actually went there 3 time for my week long stay Great job Parking: There was plenty of available parking
I had the best soup of my life from this restaurant! Spicy, hot and just super tasty The ambiance in this place is very calming, homey and a nice place for a date or just some real soul food. I'm definitely going back maybe even reserve the restaurant for a special event!
Great Authentic African food. The Egusi and Fufu is top notch! Also get the LambDibi!
This was my first time trying an African restaurant in Marietta. I wanted to love this place so bad. I got okra soup with pounded yam. For dish that’s almost $25 there was not one piece of meat , it was all bones. So disappointing :
Food was delicious, restaurant was really nice for my first time trying African food. Only reason I gave a 3 star is because the server didn’t seem very friendly and seemed to have an attitude. She never came back to check on our table and when we went up to her to pay the receipt was just thrown on the counter and not put in my hand very unprofessional.
I was there for a meeting so not review on ambiance but strictly food Tasty plant based options Fresh and hot
