Agora Restaurant

If you want truly authentic Turkish cuisine, this is the place to dine! We had the platter for two, while our guest had the Mediterranean plate. The three of us are highly impressed and will come back again. We totally recommend Agora for anyone who wants a change from their everyday cuisine. Freshly roasted lamb, flavorful with generous use of spices, soft, delicious pitas, and cozy setting. The good was good and the staff was personable, I would go back again. A few varieties of beers available as well.

Save room Baklava!! The gyro plate and beef kabab were wonderful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Mediterranean plate for an appetizer.very fresh ingredients and nice staff. The Baklava was outstanding.

The food was great. Shared hummus with friends and it was served with warm pita slices, and i had the chicken kabobs. Great taste and will be back.

The food was excellent, as was the service, until the final payment transaction. We ordered a gyro 5.99 and a gyro combo 7.99. The combo comes with rice, and we wanted a side salad instead, we were told that it would cost a little more, and when the bill came it was a lot more. We were charged 5.00 for the side salad, I questioned it because we did not get the rice so we already paid 2.00 for the salad bringing the final cost to 7.00 for the salad. I asked if he could just charge me for the sandwiches and not a combo. The man behind the counter got upset by my request which would save me only 2.00 but that would be for the rice I did not get. He told me to just take my money and go. I offered to pay again and was told he didn't need my money. I left my server a 3.50 tip on the table and told him that his tip was left when the man again bellowed to me that he didn't need my tip and to take it as well. I will not eat here again, with this type of service, I can get a Gyro from around the corner by a business who does want my money.
