A young girl I know got a flat tire and pulled into the service station for help. The workers didn’t help her at all and made her wait three hours before they said they were to busy. Which there were only 2 other cars. They were rude and putout. Highly recommend going somewhere else. I ended up going to the shell and changing out the tire. Don’t think he’s a certified mechanic and think they should hire new staff.
UPDATE, 3/2021, gas pumps are still going but no repair service or recycling center. I want to let others know I was told by my friend in Aiea this Shell is closing or closed now. I went there not too long ago to get a safety check & oil change so I was surprised. Of course the recycling is closed too. They did a good job at a fair price on my car the times I went there & helped me out when I needed it once. It's sad when a local family business closes. I wish the staff & mechanics well and I know new doors will open for them. Mahalo!
It's a small station but the perks of it, it has a mechanic and his assistant. Quick Lube and Tech car repair.
This Shell gas station offer FULL and SELF service. FULL service are only during the day hours. You can also submit cans for recycling HI-5 and drop your car off for repair or safety check. There is also a small mini-mart that offer a selection of hot/cold snacks and beverages
Do not trust the mechanic at this location named Herman.
The Pumps wouldn't work and the worker was unbelievably rude. The solutions the worker had was to keep trying to see if the pump would take my card but if any pump wasn't taking any of my card or the other customers cards. Than why isnt it she wasn't trying to fix it or even tell customers there was a problem and could only use cash
Monday, 4/4/16. Let me just preface this short and sweet review to say that my son is just fine! Daddy had a big scare earlier this morning after his doctors appointment in Aiea. Long story short, after getting baby situated and ready to go, I placed my phone and keys in the passenger seat then shut the door. At that point the car was unlocked, so I thought because when I proceeded to enter the vehicle from the drivers side, it was locked with baby in the car. Well, good samaritans to include my doctor came to help. After trying to get the door open, one of the good samaritans ran across the street to the Shell gas station to of they had a tool to open the car or come and help because my son was locked inside. Well, to his surprise, the station attendant said they could help but he will be charged and needs to get the pricing sheet to see how much the charge will be. Of course, the gentlemen tells him that's okay and comes back to assist me with my situation but by that time, Christy came with the keys to unlock and we were able to get baby out, a bit sweaty and hot but doing just fine! I guess this post isn't that short and sweet! I am shaking my head to try and understand the kind of world we live in nowadays that this individual would respond in that way when my son was in danger and anything to help would have been great! I cannot believe the actions of this individual and unfortunately he is attached to this place of business. If it were me, no questions asked, drop what I am doing and ask, "What can I do?!" Even the gentleman and his wife along with my doctor kept shaking their heads wondering why they would not help. I guess it's a place of business and regardless of the situation, big or small, it comes with a price! I am not one to write long winded posts but this one I couldn't let go. This is after a sitting down and thinking about the situation then writing about my experience. I have a learned a valuable lesson for myself in regards to the situation as well as the owner of this gas station. Take a long hard look at the people you hire, teach them about being selfless at times of crisis and sometimes, money isn't everything... I hope this makes sense and have a great day...
Those dudes jam em out. Always a pretty quick trip even with a line.
Good honest one stop for recycles but all about timing cuz get some peeps hauling truckloads lol But yah guys work there are cool and they work too!!
Excellent "old time" service station. The self service gas pumps are open late.
