I worked there as an apprentice for about almost 6 months. I was ready and willing to learn and put in the work needed to advance. No one there bothered to teach or show me anything useful. Half of the guys there get the "shakes" by 1:00 pm if they don't have their precious liquor, they threaten to gang up on you if you have any legitimate issue to address, and they will treat your training like a burden. Most of the people there have high tempers and poor attitudes. 1 star.

Was unhappy about having entered into a one year service agreement and I only received service on the one occasion that a technician came out and had me sign the agreement. The other three were not followed through on by Air Controls. On my end I did not call them for the services they did not show up for so I can't give them one star because I could have called and asked why someone has not been to my business. However, I have since had another service provider to my business and learned that I have a major issue with a 5 year old HVAC unit that would have been avoided under regular maintenance and now at a much more significant cost. I still have not heard why they did not follow through with the services, but I did have someone call me to start a service agreement back up which I have declined. I have to say that one of the technicians from Air Controls was top notch and when ever I had immediate issues in the past (prior to entering into the service agreement), he was excellent and one of the most knowledgeable technicians I have worked with over the years.

Called on a Thursday for warranty repair on a new True commercial fridge. They couldn't come out until Tuesday. OK, Tuesday rolls around, no calls, no technician. Called them at 8:30 am to find out when the tech would arrive. They called back and said they would be out in the afternoon. 4:30 in the afternoon, I call and ask when they are expected to arrive, and if they are even still planning on coming. I get the response. "well, I guess I can call them and find out." I then called Perfect Temp. They call right back and can come out right away, or in the morning, we opt for early morning and then call back Air Controls to cancel. Next call is to True Manufacturing to discuss how Air Controls made it on their preferred repair list. Lesson learned, call Perfect Temp and skip the hassles.

I have worked with this company and found them to be very knowledgeable and experienced. I would recommend them.
