At first all seemed great, I received a packet via email that I had to fill out and send back to eventually set up an interview. After doing this however the recruiter didn't respond till like a week or two later (after numerous calls and texts). They explained they were getting around to it and that they have many other applicants(very understandable). This went on for two months until they completely stopped responding. Its been about 4 months now and still nothing. I get it you're busy. But don't tell me you're working on it then proceed to go dark. I'm glad it didn't work out though because this place would've treated me like just another number anyway. I know its a hike but go to the Flatbush Ave Brooklyn one and talk to TSgt Allen. He got me the AFSC I wanted within 2 months.

You're just treated as another number to them. They don't care about your career. Met 2 recruiters who seemed to be pretty helpful compared to mine but I'd recommend to go to a new office or make sure you have a recruiter who doesn't treat your career as another number to them.

Great experience at this place. When you first walk in, the place feels like a really up to date office. The recruiters were great. The only down side to this place was getting in contact with the recruiter, other than that it is a really great place to go.

I am not sure if this is a busy office, but it is hard to get into contact with someone. The only time I spoke to someone was when I walked in on a whim. If you really want or need to get in, be persistent. The same day I walked in I took the practice ASVAB and did pretty well (in the 90s). I assumed that would make me coveted, but it's been silent. You need to apply pressure on your recruiter. I plan to show up repeatedly until I become priority #1. I suggest you do the same.

I hated the place. The recruiter was wearing a wife beater and basketball shorts. The marines deserves more respect.
