Air National Guard Recruiting

Last October I decided to re-enlist back into the Oregon Air Guard and was fortunate enough to use this office as my recruiting station. Sergeant Anderson was my recruiter and she made the entire process a breeze. Professional, polite, and prompt responses and updates throughout the whole experience. She truly went above and beyond to help me get through the re-enlistment process. 11/10. Would re-enlist with these guys again.

I have to say that these recruiters are easily some of the most honest, and overall best recruiters around. They tell you nothing but the truth. They really make it a point to feel welcome and at ease with the recruiting process. I was in the Army before, and that was an overwhelming experience because of all the paperwork that needed to be done. I also had a sense that they cared more about getting me to sign that dotted line quickly almost like I was going to back out or something. But the Oregon Air guard is nothing like this at all. They want to not only recruit you, but retain you, and ensure that you are happy with the job you get, and I think that is one huge difference in these guys. They take you through all the shops so you can physically see the place you will be working on drill weekends, a long with some of the people that you'll work with. I thought this was really awesome because it really helped take away from any surprises, so to speak. I would highly recommend you check out the Air National Guard because I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I couldn't thank this team enough for being such outstanding recruiters by getting me the exact job that I wanted with the Air Force National Guard. I can promise you that if you come here to choose a career path, these guys will work everything in their power to make you happy, and get you exactly where you want to be in the Oregon Air National Guard.

My transition from the Marine Corps. to the Oregon Air National Guard was a pleasant surprise. I can say without a doubt that this was a pivotal experience; one that is sure to fulfill my desires of stability, structure, and a military affiliation, just to name a few. The recruiting team there is outstanding: no pressure, resourceful, knowledgeable, and easy going. All I can say is "Smarter, not harder!" Thank you Portland team! My experiences with the Air National Guard Recruiting office staff are nothing but positive. My recruiter, TSgt Jacobo, reached out to me and educated me through my entire enlistment process. He was honest, upfront, and caring through every step. TSgt Jacobo carefully assessed my life situation to find the best job for me. He took me to the base to visit and meet the office for each job I had an interested in. He made it so much easier to find the right path for me and my family in the Oregon Air Guard. TSgt Jacobo and his recruiting staff worked as a team to make sure my enlistment experience was the best. I recommend anyone looking for a new life change to make time and chat with TSgt Jacobo.
