Airport Home Appliance

We have done business with Airport Home Appliance as we sold one house and renovated another. Their prices are good, and the selection of goods is broad. We have found them to be helpful, knowledgeable and willing to work with us. The installers that have worked with us for them have been top notch as well. I am a fan.

Overall the selection is good and they did worked with the prices and were not pushy on the sale and had a decent knowledge of the products. The issue I have is the lack of communication after the sale once they have your money you are pretty much on your own to find out when you will get your product. No call backs to give delivery updates, blatant lying on when items will be delivered and no follow up. Also it seems there are no managers to ever talk with to take action on issues.

I called at approximately 4pm on a Wednesday. No one answered the phone to field my question. It took me over 20 minutes to drive to the store and fight traffic (because of roadwork on Willow Pass Rd. near the store) to get my question answered. The voicemail message said that my call wasn't answered because all associates were busy assisting customers. When I entered the store, did I see a busy store with all of the employees engaged with customers in a busy store? NO! I saw a circle of 4 (or 5) male employees standing around conversing and laughing. Is it possible that that they were all previously busy a short time earlier and they were all serendipitously freed up because of a sudden mass exodus of their clientele? Sure. I don't believe that, but, . . . sure. The simple answer to my question is, no, this store does not sell appliance parts. Had any of these "busy" salesmen answered my call, they would have saved me the time and aggravation that I experienced driving there. On the plus side, I was referred to Marcone Supply on N. Main Street in Walnut Creek for my required washing machine replacement part. For THAT, I'm rating the store 2-stars, instead of 1-star. This store IS big and appears to be well stocked with many salespeople available to assist walk-in customers, but apparently NOT enough of employees to answer phone calls to the store to answer a question and save people the time and effort of driving there unnecessarily. Whatever happened to courtesy and customer service?

Yes we walked in and told them what we wanted and they provided exactly what we wanted and we were out of the store in 30 minutes! They delivered it on time and set it up and took the old washer and dryer away. The only negative is we paid a certain price in the store, found out 2 days later it was $100 cheaper on line! The exact same units as I checked the stock numbers, so be sure to question if there is a cheaper on line price.

We bought this our fridge here and we’re very pleased with the process. Calvin Tran was knowledgeable and helpful. I like the “no pressure” vibe there. Just good information. That was all I was looking for.
