We chose to buy our dishwasher here because we wanted to support a brick and mortar store and presumably get better customer service. Next time we we won’t bother to pretend that a place earning a commission offers any more service than an online sale provides. They installed our new dishwasher on a Saturday. It broke on literally our second load of dishes on Sunday evening. On Monday afternoon I called for help. They told me to call GE and have it repaired and took absolutely no responsibility. The complete and utter lack of care or customer service from Airport was totally disappointing. We called several times over the course of the week, were given the run around. The the manager had the nerve to blame us- I mean it broke literally within 36 hours of installation! I don’t expect these guys to support us for decades or even months but a bit of help within 2 uses seems appropriate. On the bright side, the GE repair guy was absolutely amazing. But Airport Home Appliance gets no credit for his work at all. And I may as well have avoided the extra cost associated with a commission by ordering online.

We were very pleased with the service and products from Airport Home Appliance. We redid our kitchen and replaced all appliances and Airport was able to get them all for us, in most cases, at a price better than was posted on line. It was also great to be able to talk to the associate, Jeff, about the features so we really knew what we were getting. When there was a problem with delivery of the stove, Jeff kept on it, kept us informed, and the stove arrived! Great customer service. It's why I don't shop online!!

The sale went fine and was probably one of the easiest sales for the sales person. My dishwasher broke over the holidays. I knew which dishwasher I wanted to purchase so I called up Airport Appliance and ordered one over the phone. The problem came when the delivery guys unpacked my new dishwasher and told me the dishwasher was damaged. I got on the phone with Airport Appliance to find out about getting a replacement and the guy that answered the phone was not my sales person and was not interested in helping me. He said he would leave a message with my sales person who would be in a little later. I never heard back from them so I had to call several times to finally get my sales person. Each time I called I felt as if I was being given the run around, and not once did anyone apologize for the inconvenience and tell me they would take care of this and expedite my next delivery. I finally cancelled the order and was told I would be emailed a receipt for the refund of the cancelled order when the manager came in the next day. The receipt was not emailed to me, so yet again, I had to contact Airport numerous times to reach the manager. The manager started telling me she hadn't processed the refund because the installation company (a company Airport contracts out) had not returned the dishwasher yet. After my complaints she did go ahead and send the refund -- very poor customer service.

Airport Home Appliance has knowledgeable staff and courteous installers -- a welcome contrast to typical big box stores. They also went the extra mile when a manufacturer (Frigidaire) seemed to lack a basic understanding of its own products. After buying a new gas range from them, we felt confident enough to return some months later for a dishwasher. Both experiences merit five stars.

There was a glitch in the delivery communication that caused a delay of a couple of days. Other than that, everything wonderful. Competent, polite, responsive personnel, an easy transaction.
